Very simple we dont need the government to be envolved in every aspect of our lives. the more the government has control it is not a democracy it is communism. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

And yet I'd bet you want to government to ban same-sex marriage (an intrusion into a person'e personal life) and probably want the government o dictate what goes on in the bedroom of a married couple because it might be "a crime against nature." You are just misguided.

And i suppose you want to join Sarah Palen in setting up Death Pannels to deal with the seniors who cannot afford to live and cannot afford medical care? Medicare and Social Security are things that we paid for when we were working. They are a paid-for RIGHT not a government handout. If you pay for insurance and the conditions are met for you to make a claim, you make a claim. Thisd is the case with Medicare and Social Security. They are insurance paid for by the individual recipient.
