Universal access is needed. But do we need a new mega-bureaucracy with record deficits? The existing system which works for most people needs to be fixed, not reinvented.

If health care is managed with twice the efficiency that Medicaid, Amtrak or the USPS is managed with then we’re still in real trouble.
