Look at countries that have a single payer system - seriously, look at them. Research is not encouraged and care is not even near the US standard. Any system run by the government does not work efficiently. There are other answers and they have been proposed but the Dems continue to shoot them down. Do your homework and ask yourself - Do I want the government to decide if I am worthy of health care or even of life?
