This is a very expensive social program that we can not afford. If you want to insure the uninsured, then work out a program just for them. The proposed plans are just a foot in the door toward socialism. Additionally, the promises that illegal aliens won't be covered are bogus. The Supreme Court has ruled that ALL people must be treated at the emergency room, regardless of their resident status (Read "illegal alien" status.

It is very expensive and we are in a recession. We will all have to pay higher taxes. If they shove this through, Obama and Congress should be forced unto the same plan.

I have to laugh at all the people who say it costs too much for obama plan. I pay $2300 every 3 months for a plan i haven't used in 20 yrs. it was $850. 3yrs ago. i'd love to have an option to buy in to less expensive plan. nobody said you were getting into the federal plan for free as for taxes well its a price that im willing to pay to know im not going to lose everthing ive gained thru hard work because i get sick and can't pay for my medical insurance
