Was this the deal Obama made with Clinton to get her to join him during the elections?
We have the best health care in the world. Why fix it? Free enterprise made this country great. No we want socialistic programs to bring it down? Obama, Go Home.

it will cost too much to use tax payer money to treat all the overweight make that obese people who also do not excercise eat wrong foods, drink alcohol and smoke. It is like the car insurance companies not penalizing bad drivers by letting them pay no more than good drivers. Insane but works for the liberals now in power.

I am a female and one of the millions uninsured in TX. I can't afford private coverage. We need reform and gov't assistance for a more fair system.

I have come to a conclusion. This is not my opinion or anyone elses opinion. This is a fact.

Those who have employee sponsered health care do not want a national health care for all. Those who do not have employee sponsered health care do want a national health care.

What this tells us is that we have the ol "I got mine and to hell with the rest of you" attitude.

Get a education and a job. That just might help. It did me and I did it alone as a single parent.

Our insurance company spend millions lobbying against government option and we aired ads against public health insurance. Do you want to put us on the streets? Watch fox news for unbiased fact based real journalism. If you don't like USA move to backward socialist countries in Europe like Great Britain, France, Germany, Sweden - they have public health option. USA is a capitalist country.

My bonus will increase if This government takeover fails. I hope so. Our company spend millions fighting against government takeover of health insurance. Watch Glen Beck. That man is godsend. He alone has saved jobs in our insurance industry single handely. Vote for Joe Lieberman - he is actually a republican in disguise. He is standing firm against government public option. Government is no longer offering public option due to efforts of these great men. You are responsible for your own health.

How can you tell others to get an education when your grammar shadows that of a 2nd grader. And do you think it's easy to just go out and get a job as you say? Have ya heard? We are in a deeper economic depression then 1928. There are no jobs. Not everyone is lucky enough as yourself to find one of the few jobs around. Have a little heart for your fellow human being. Everyone is trying.

Then tell OSHA, the FDA, your police protection, your national defence, and your schools to go away. That's just a start, and stop using the roads or public transportation. Stop drinking clean water, boy what all the government has its hands in.

Some hard working people do have jobs but still don't have insurance. Not all employers provide insurance, and as someone who was self employed (from 96 - 99) our insurance that we purchased ourselves was $450 per month back then. It wasn't great insurace, but it wasn't shabby either. Our family has never been without, but we've never had a job that didn't provide it either. If we did and our hourly wage was only $10 or $12 an hour, I am sure we couldn't afford to purchase a policy for our family!!! Yikes!! I feel so sorry for people who don't have insurance, I know for a fact, they receive inferior care and are not afforded all the options those of us who have insurance are! I know we are blessed.
