Just as Johnson's "Great Society" led us down the slippery slope to generational welfare and it's astronomical costs, this well-meaning bill will cause innumerable unintended consequences.

It's quite easy to dream of a better future, but quite difficult to step back and look at what the consequences might be down the road. As has been shown throughout the years, politicians are not fond of doing anything that is difficult.
