Would lose health care options. Would lose many doctors to poor reimbursements (as it is currently with Medicaid). And be massively more expensive in terms of (my/our) taxes.

Public Option works well in western europe. Scare stories of long waits is simply a lie. Ask and German/French/Brits and they will all back the public option. Taxes are no different - financing goes to the health system and not for profits of the few or over treatment for $$$.
