This country is going broke and we just keep spending more. I think something needs to be done but they need to spend more time coming up with something that isn't partison.

We are bankrupt, indebted to China, and don't have the MONEY!!!!!!!! I'd rather see taxes spent on defending our nation. Healthcare isn't going to matter a whole lot if we die during a third world war. Wake up PEOPLE!!!!!!

Totally against it. Our government is out of control, we are losing our individual rights, they are talking of MAKING people get vaccinations ... NO, NO, NO. When is it going to end????

This Obama Health Care Plan is the 1st step toward Socialized medicine, and will lead to Obama's Ultimate goal to make this a Socialist Country.

The one elected has no Idea how to run anything, because he never has. And all he promised has happened he has changed the United States of America for the worse. That is the changed part of his platform and the hope part is we all hope to get him out of office as soon as possible. I wish the elections were tomorrow.

Its not what it suppose to be which was universal health care coverage for all which would have decreased the deficit over time. Basically special interests got to the plan and now its a watered down pile of crap.

We're in debt, people are losing their jobs, losing their homes, selling their cars and jewelery and other luxuries just to be able to put food on the table... and you're going to fix this by SPENDING more of our hard earned money before we even get a chance to touch it?*scratches head*

I'm all for charity, but it loses its meaning when it's forced. It's not the responsibility or the right of the federal government to establish a national health care plan. It's a gross abuse of its power, it's unconstitutional (does anyone even know what that means anymore?), and it's irresponsible. Stop choking the life out of the middle class. There will always be richer and poorer, but the "poor" in this country still have very little to complain about compared to India or China. All that aside, the elected leaders need to stop worrying about the fringe groups and worry about the people who make up the bulk of the population - the working middle class. We're the ones who are ignored, and yet we're the ones who provide the majority of the economical support for this nation. And yet we're the first people they screw when they're in trouble.

A healthy 24 year old who does not have access to parental insurance should NOT be forced into purchasing it when he is obviously well.
I don't purchase car insurance - I ride the bus.
I don't pay home owners insurance - I rent.
Why should I be forced to buy health coverage when I am in college and healthy?
