I'd rather keep the doctors.
If this crap passes most of them will retire or quit.
That's just for starters.

That's not true. A large majority of doctors are in favor of reform containing a public option.

"Most doctors — 63 percent — say they favor giving patients a choice that would include both public and private insurance. That’s the position of President Obama and of many congressional Democrats. In addition, another 10 percent of doctors say they favor a public option only; they’d like to see a single-payer health care system. Together, the two groups add up to 73 percent." http://www.causecast.org/news_items/8954-heal...

Prez Obama already said he has the best health care. He wants us to read between the lines that the tax payer is footing the bill so why wouldn't US citizens want the same for themselves.

Yes I support this, It is Time for our Government to stop the "Pre-Existing" clause insurance companies use and to help the Low Income and Poor be able to obtain Insurance and to help Small Businesses with few employees to have some type of Insurance plan in which they can afford to offer to their employees.
But lets remember it still need Senate Approval and then Final approval from the House after the senate puts in their changes,I hope they get this a bill and then Law before the end of 2009.
Thank you Very Much Congress for tackling this issue. I appreciate all your hard work on this issue.

The people this appeals to are the same ones that do nothing to improve their health, over eat become obese, diabetic and has no intention of changing their lifestyle. They will constantly need care, clog the system with their self destructive practices and keep others from recieving care in a timely manor. Its a stupid idea and will never become law.

I would agree that the majority of health problems are related to laziness in exercise and diet.Another thing is people are relying too much on doctors and not enough on their diets. The major problem with universal healthcare is that many obese and hypocondriacs are going to really abuse the system and this is why I don't agree with this health plan.

Well, the Dem's have a great idea now lets fine those that won't buy health care and If they don't have money we can jail them. That kind of thinking had to be the same people that came up with obamacare. sorry I can't call it a health care (plan) because this word gives the false impression that this was thought out.

This is not health care reform, almost no reform in the bill, you may get insurance out of it, but not for at least 3 more years.

Alot of these lying, sorry doctors need to retire for good. Once healthcare passes these mostly republican doctors will stop performing needless operations for a large profit motive. Doctors are notorius for misdiagnosing health problems and have been getting away with stealing from medicare and insurance. Take um down!

open your eyes read the constitution, stop falling for the slide of hand tricks. Dem's are ripping us off and turning us into a socialist state all the while getting them more power and money, the Repubs aint much better both are screwing us and the Constitution.
Third Party is the only cure next election vote out incumbents do not vote party, continue this until they start to follow the constitution, Health Care is a State Issue not a Fed Issue, Both Parties Spent us into insane debt the current one just faster and more than the other both are not in it for America only themselves
"ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY!" JFK a Democrat
"Paradoxically enough, the release of initiative and enterprise made possible by popular self-government ultimately generates disintegrating forces from within. Again and again after freedom has brought opportunity and some degree of plenty, the competent become selfish, luxury-loving and complacent, the incompetent and the unfortunate grow envious and covetous, and all three groups turn aside from the hard road of freedom to worship the Golden Calf of economic security. The historical cycle seems to be: From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to apathy; from apathy to dependency; and from dependency back to bondage once more.
At the stage between apathy and dependency, men always turn in fear to economic and political panaceas. New conditions, it is claimed, require new remedies. Under such circumstances, the competent citizen is certainly not a fool if he insists upon using the compass of history when forced to sail uncharted seas. Usually so-called new remedies are not new at all. Compulsory planned economy, for example, was tried by the Chinese some three milleniums ago, and by the Romans in the early centuries of the Christian era. It was applied in Germany, Italy and Russia long before the present war broke out. Yet it is being seriously advocated today as a solution of our economic problems in the United States. Its proponents confidently assert that government can successfully plan and control all major business activity in the nation, and still not interfere with our political freedom and our hard-won civil and religious liberties. The lessons of history all point in exactly the reverse direction." - Henning W. Prentis, Industrial Management in a Republic, p. 22 From 1943 Presentation
You must educate yourself with the truth not the lies being fed to you by the media and public schools!

After 8 years of NO, NONE, NOT ANY effort by the previous administration on any health care issues, how could anyone in their right mind vote otherwise?
