While I do not agree with everything he proposes, I do believe that healthcare should be reformed. I feel that if you cut the cost to the providers of healthcare, the cost to the country will be reduced. Limit what hospitals have to pay for devices and implants and the cost to provide healthcare will shrink as will the cost to the country.

So what do we have now? Healthcare reform for the people or healthcare reform for the big corporate and big political machine?

The beneficiary of any reform should be the people, not corporate America. Corporate America has bled the people long enough.

Why can an implant company charge one hospital 5000 dollars for an implant and another hospital 12,000 dollars for the same implant? Who pays? Who profits? We pay. The government pays. Insurance companies pay. Big corporate implant vendors profit. How is this legal, especially when the government is involved in the reimbursement? Hmmm... somthing smells fishy in flower freshville.

One hospital charges 12,000 dollars for a colonoscopy another charges 3,000 for the same procedure. The insurance company pays 12k to one and 3k to the other for the same procedure. Where does your healthcare dollars go?

Our government is all consumed by providing healthcare to the masses. What they should be worrying about is making healthcare affordable so that people can purchase their own insurance rather than having to give up heating or cooling to afford the insurance.

Btw, all the anonymous posts belong to me, failed to put my name in. Perhaps I can get a bailout to help with that.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
