Yep, when the poor get welfare, that's "wasting money."
When the already-rich get welfare, that's "a tax cut."

Fox News people make my skin crawl. The women look like hookers and the men look like they're one short step from the looney bin.

People of OHIO, you need to contact your state government officials and let them know you want OHIO to invoke Nullification which is guaranteed by the 10th Amendment. Nullification states this. Whenever a state nullifies a federal law, it is proclaiming that the law in question is void and inoperative or non-effective, within the boundaries of that state, not a law as far as that state is concerned. The 10th Amendment Movement is an effort to push back against unconstitutional federal laws and regulations on a state level. The principle is known as Nullification and was advised by many prominent founders. Arizona and some other states have stated they are going to invoke Nullification if this healthcare bill passes and becomes law. Have a good day.

I think that what they are trying to do will be invasive to me, my family and my Doctor in making the decission that we think are best. Gov. sdrews up enough things as it is. I don't want my care to be one of them. In addition, I don't want to pay for people who are not willing to find a way to take care of thier own needs. We all are responsible to find a way to make our live work... on our own. And if you are in true need (i.e. too old or physcally/ mentally not able) well thats a different story and we need to help those who are in need. But I don't want to pay for some one who simply thinks its ok to live off the goverment tit.

The Declaration of Independence refers to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" as being inalienable rights....... Funny, I don't recall health care being mentioned in there! You could make a case for a right to basic care vs. allowing people to die in the streets. Other than that- you should get what you or your employer are willing/able to pay for!

TV doesn't disagree, but what do you do with those smart people that don't think they'll get sick. They don't buy insurance. Who pay's then.

How can you support a policy that our government doesn't even realize what is wrote in it and also one that gives money to illegals care and paying for abortions. It doesn't help the average worker who is underinsured or keeping drug cost down.

We do need health care; but this one it too large, forces people to buy health care, and is too expensive. No one asked us what we wanted, and how to pay for it.

Here's what medicine for profit has turned into:

US health care is deadly. It is the leading cause of death and injury in the US.

US health care is 17% of our GDP.

US health care is ranked 39th in the world.

US health care has the highest paid doctors.

US health care make the most medical blunders.

US health care costs consumers nearly 3 times more than the rest of the world.

US health care leads the world in hospital born infection.

US health care only reports 20% of its medical errors.

US health care is bankrupting this country.(imagine if every American had 6000 dollars more of disposable income because they weren;t spending it on health insurance.

US health care creates 500 billion dollars because of medical errors.

Who is currently running our health care system?

Could it be the same medical industry that has ruined it and is now funding the tea baggers?

I support and oppose it. I believe all americans should have the right to health care. We are suppose to be the greatest nation, why shouldn't we? Other countries do. On the same note I don't think we should have a gun put to our heads and are ordered ro buy insurance or face prosecution. There has to be a better way.

Prosecution? I did not see that in the bill, it is not there. And of most importance, nothing about guns in the bill.

Corpsman Michael B Judd

Bronx, NY

The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) announced today that the remains of a serviceman, missing from the Vietnam War, have been identified and have been returned to his family for burial with full military honors.
Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Michael B. Judd of Cleveland was buried on July 15, in Arlington National Cemetery. On June 30, 1967, Judd was aboard a CH-46A Sea Knight helicopter that was attempting to insert a U.S. Marine Corps reconnaissance team into hostile territory in Thua Thien-Hue Province, Vietnam. As the helicopter approached the landing zone, it was struck by enemy fire from the surrounding tree line, causing the aircraft to catch fire. The aircraft crashed landed. Although most of the reconnaissance team to survived, Judd and four other crew members of the team, died in the crash.
In 1993, joint U.S./Socialist Republic of Vietnam (S.R.V.) teams investigated the case in Thua Thien-Hue Province. The team interviewed local villagers who claimed to have discovered an aircraft crash site in the nearby forest while searching for firewood in 1991. The team surveyed the location finding aircraft wreckage that could not be associated with a CH-46A.
During the 1990s, joint U.S./ S.R.V. teams continued to investigated the loss in Thua Thien-Hue Province. In 1999, the team interviewed the same local villagers who provide relevant case information and the joint team surveyed the crash site again, this time uncovering aircraft wreckage consistent with a U.S. military helicopter.
In 2012, joint U.S./ S.R.V. recovery teams began excavating the crash site and recovered human remains and aircraft wreckage from the CH-46A helicopter that Judd was aboard.
Scientists from the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) and the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory (AFDIL) used forensic identification tools and circumstantial evidence, including dental comparisons in the identification of Judd remains.
