we have to something, and this president is trying not like Bush a lame duck president he is trying to fix this country problens that my party left. I like him, he is smart.

It is not clear, how it works, will it be required for people to buy it even if they cannot afford it? will the government supply?

Health care should be for everyone for the benefit of all in the long long run.

Because ill people cost more in the long run.

And cost society more too.

Because of inflation and what not, it's best to catch problems early.

Otherwise the big costs come all at once.

For the insurance companies especially.

The government would make money instead of insurance companies.

I don't, and prefer private insurers myself. There must be a middle ground.

Like the government could just cover those without health care already.

And let people who have private care keep what they like.

And let the goverment focus on less share of health care, and more on other issues.

I've lived in England, which has socialized medicine. It is awful. My uncle died in the hallway of the hospital because they did not have a room for him!

My mom had Kaiser coverage through terminal cancer, and while a few mistakes were made I was so thankful for that type of coverage - excellent really.
