Healthcare decisions are made by insurance companies RIGHT ON AND ITS WRONG GREED IS THERE MOTTO """"THEY PAY OFF THE CONGRESS AND THE SENANTORS"" TO GO EVERYWHERE AND SAY NO TO MAKING HEALTH CARE AFFORDABLE FOR ALL AMERICANS. THE WASHINGTON DC GOV SHOULD GIVE UP THERE HEALTH CARE UNTIL EVERYONE IN AMERICA IS COVERED.

ILLEGALS will be covered one why or another weather the worthless bill pass or not.
1. How will this bill be payed for?
2. No ILLEGALS covered period go to where you came from and get help there.
3. Do not cut medicare or medicad just stop the waste fraud and abuse.
4. Cross state health insurance. Some state health insurance is higher than others. this will drop thier prices
5. Pay for pre-existing conditions to a point.
6. What about the mal-practice lawyers and insurance noone has said anthing about lowering this.
7. Drug companies also need to be reind-in on their prices.

Oh by the way Bush didn't start the war the muslims that bomd us did. We should have already been to war when the blew up the USS Cole. Thats right a Dem was in office but he was buisy doing other things right. This Press is going to leave us wide open again

discussion in America about healthcare is ridden with lies and innuendos. The rest of the world is looking again with dismay. The richest country in the world cannot garrantee healthcare to everybody. The idea that America is going towards socialism or even communism is redicilous, especially when people have no idea what is the difference between them.

I'm assuming when you say an alternative option, your referring to a government option. It may very well drive the private sector price down, however the private sector , us , the tax payer will then be paying our part in the private sector and paying our part via taxes to the alternative option. Where are the savings? In the long run we could be paying more for healthcare than we are now
Then what is your suggestion to keep the private insurers to continuing to increase their premiums and to keep them from declining to cover people for pre-existing conditions? Believe me, employers will not be able to continue paying our premiums at the current level of increase so it will begin affect all of us very soon if something is not done.

It is ever a racist opinion or an uneducated person that needs to resort to the race card every time someone doesn't like Obama. There are actually black people who don't like him. What do you call them? Orioles~

As usual they are spewing lies and scare tactics. They did the same thing to Clinton when he tried to do something about healthcare. The corporate lobbyist that work for the insurance companies and drug companies do not want healthcare overhauled. They are influencing the GOP as usual.

im real disappointed by the people in chicagoland
im third gen Illinoisan and a long time corporate employee and small business owner
number one task
email your senators on a daily basis using the various internet sites
tell your congressman and senators to vote NO on everything... stall... send to committee
they are rusing to beat the october 15th us budget deadline and the 2010 candidate announcements
non of the black caucus reads the stuff and all they want is your tax dollars

corporate america anticipated this would happen in 1998 1999 when al gore was trying to get the whitehouse
we knew it them as y2k
corporations put a risk management plan in place that minimized the risks of loss from doing business with the government

ron pauls legislation to open up the fed and change it will take some growing pains but it is the only way to stop out of control gangsta government
you already know what the machine has done to chicagoland
BHO helped his cousin overthrow KENYA AND THE RESULTING RIOTS CAUSED LOSS OF LIFE AND PROPERTY
the MSM wont tell you what's really going on , you have to read about it in the papers and the internet
recommendations
watch the market if you are long you may get burned
many are in cash
mortgage defaults will skyrocket to millions soon
sell real estate
Illinois has a very large percentage of illegals as does jersey and especially california we suggest you look at what has happened to california
miles and miles of shit down businesses and abandoned new home construction
springfield has fixed the appraisals of the 5 collar counties for years and now they are tragically overinflated with millions stuck with
toxic loans both commercial and residential
the propositions that californai passed are now taking real hold and the migration of hispanics and other immigrants is putting pressure back on mexico
oklahoma has entirely banned any illegals form entering their state
thei has had a tremedous positive efect on their economy
remember immigrants dont keep their jobs , they dont vote and most dont pay taxes
they sure knwo how to suck up the beneis though
illinois has no homestead exemption
illinois will probably lose the ability to provide good healthcare due to doctor emmigration as a result of liabilty insurance costs
hospitals in the chicago land area are refusing to
deliver anchor and drug addicted children
if you get in an accident in chicagoland count on
becoming bankrupt
move out now or find housing that is cheap and affordable
cook county has the largest court system in the world and it will entrap you

i can remember when comcast had a monolopy on the cable business years age. they took away some channels, jacked up their prices and treated their customers like crap. now they have to compete and they are trying to give customers deals, especially if the "return" to comcast. the same will be true with insurance companies. unless they have competion, they will just continue to raise their premiums, deny coverage and force us to pay higher out of pocket costs. people who chose a government option will have to pay premiums but they won't be treated like crap like the current insurance monolopys are treating it's customers now. competion is the key to free market. what are they afraid of?

well that is a racists remark, and any person that brings the color issue up is a racist, like Obama when he opened his big mouth in the Gates issue! No I would have voted for Colin Powell a very good man for the job and experienced for Wartimes, and I believe he is an African-American, or Black right? So now what is your problem? Divide and Conquer is obvious here in America and that is what is happening and right this very minute I am sitting next to a man that is Black as you put it and he is calling you a racist as well for he is against Obama for the simple reason he is a Chicagoan and knows that Obama is a Socialist and a Marxist, and is going to force the Unions on us and he as a man is against anyone or anything that forces us into anything of Big Government Control! Also he just told me to tell you that he doesn't like him for not being honest and telling the people he is a Black Muslim, for he is one as well and is not hiding it!Not everyone thinks narrow minded, and automatically assumes the things you do. People like us are way above that crap and if you ever served in the Military you would know why? Get over it, people are people and just because you like someone don't group him in with yourself and be blind, you don't know him, he may not like you? ha ha If you are Black it is fine and Dandy and you want to support him for that reason is ignorant and racist, not intelligent at all! Hitler was an Austrian and not German as Obama is not American don't be stupid! Protect yourself, for only your own can really deceive you and stab you just like Julius Caesar remember?

For those that are not very intelligent:
My employers health costs just rose 20% over past year and 20% the year before. My older son's employer's healthcare costs went up 25% over the past year. They are upping our out of pocket expenses and deductibles every year. How long do you think this can go on? Wake up and look at the future. Employers will not be able to afford keeping their employees insured for much longer. Then you will all be screaming and wining that the government should have done something when you were the ones screaming to stop them from trying to do something. You need to stop being brainless and see that the growing healthcare disaster is much worse than trying to do something. Also, my younger son could not get health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. He was not offered healthcare through work. His only option was through the state pool. We could not afford the outrageous premium so he was uninsured with severe asthma. We are just one of millions who are having huge problems. The current system is failing and getting worse every year. A friend just called me the other day. Her and her husband have their own business so they have an individual health insurance policy for themselves. They just received their annual renewal and their premiums went up over $150 per month. Anyone who thinks healthcare does not need to be overhauled is completely stupid.
Why do you think that is happening? Did you ever stop to wonder why? I'll give you a hint, it's called CLAIMS. If nobody filed any claims insurance would cost $10 bucks a month.

What makes you think that claims will be reduced under all this nonsense from Congress? The bottom line is that if insurance companies have more claims than premiums they will go bankrupt. They can't ponzi scheme it the way Obama will try and do.

So tell me, based on Obama's proposal to cover 45 million people many of whom can't afford to pay anything let alone the premium, how is that going to lower your premium? How is creating a huge government bureaucracy called on "insurance exchange" going to lower your premium?

People in America are too fat and don't exercise, and smoke and drink too much. How is Obamacare going to change any of that? You tell me.

I'm amazed anyone wants the Federal Government to take over the health insurance industry. What have they ever run at a profit, ever? Medicare is broke, Medicaid is broke, Social Security is broke, and the Federal Government is massively in debt. And people want them to take over health insurance?

Why don't they stay out of it altogether other than passing some legislation to make individual policies guaranteed issue.(Which will raise rates even more, but oh well, that's what people want it seems).

Actually what people want is freebies. They pretty much want free healthcare, and make someone else pay for it.

Personally I don't think they should waste the money on health insurance. Let the poor and the downtrodden go to government run clinics at the hospitals and make the emergency rooms for emergencies again.

Buying health insurance for 45 million people is just a total waste of money. Most of these people wouldn't pay their deductibles and copays anyway. Set up some government run clinics, and hire some Pakistani surgeons and be done with it.

Most of us would rather remain in the private health care system as would most doctors. But if don't like paying for it or can't pay for then go the government clinic. If your income is above a certain level then you still have to pay for the government clinic. Will the lines at the government clinic be short,.....no, but if 45 millon start jamming up doctor's offices those lines won't be short either.

What decisions are you talking about? I've had several issues with my family in the last 5 years and I have made the decision what to each time with the advice of an MD, the insurance company never had a word to say about it.

The trend has been away from the gatekeeper HMO plans. I don't think you know what you're talking about.
