You don't buy a new car if you get a flat tire. Fix the perfectly adequate system we have now without destroying it and keep the GOVERNMENT out of it!

What we need is health insurance reform, including tort reform, portability, and competition among insurers in every state. Government is never efficient or cost saving.

As bad as the GOP makes it sound, it's better than the alternative.

Amtrak, Post office, Medicare all run by the government and lose billions of OUR tax dollars every year. Why would anyone think healthcare would be different?
