If you sit back and go "who cares"... it will come and it won't be pretty. Get up and voice your opinion. Write your congressment. Phone your congressmen. Attend a tea party. Strength in numbers....

Speaking of health care, has anybody been to that doctor who has his office in a big van and drives around. I forget his name, but he treated me for a cold by giving me yeast and laxatives. That was a nice 2 days in the bathroom.

I'd stay away from him no matter who is paying.

That's not entirely true. I have Insurance and I will vote for universal health care. There has to be a way. Most western countries have it. What is wrong with us?

I find it hard to support something that is going to be forced on me with no choice. If we have to have it make all the politicians from the top down be forced to have the same plan we have. If it will be so good why haven't any of them stepped forward to say they would enroll?

Education is forced on us. Granted, we all need an education but try not sending your kid to school. It's not a free choice.

Dont worry kitti, they only have to go to school until they are 16, then they can get pregnant and have FREE health care.

Im kinda hung in the middle of this one. I do not believe any American should lose everything they have worked for because of insurance co-pays and medical bills when they get sick. People shouldnt die because they have run out of insurance or dont have any. I am in the medical profession and have seen people do desperate things to receive treatments that could save their lives. People shouldnt die because they can't pay. I have also seen all the abuse that some people put on the health care system, such as, seeking drugs, attempting suicide, drinking their liver away etc. I believe that illegal aliens should not have access to any tax payer funded programs, ever.

It's people like you that need to reproduce MORE. If only IQ's were checked prior to child conception...Oh, and since you are obviously using that grey matter, and have concluded in "being on the fence", wouldn't you also agree that something this drastic NOT be rushed as if it will only work NOW? This is something that needs to be worked out on paper over a matter of years, not whipped up over night. It's not even being treated as important by so many lawmakers, as would be a term paper for a college student. Just rush rush rush, spend spend spend. Very scary.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Aries

The behaviour of somebody around you (most probably your partner or family member) may be rather irrational today. Alternatively, a surprise involving one of these people is possible. Try to keep your domestic plans reasonably flexible to cover all possible outcomes. The focus is on improving your relationship with your partner or with friends today. Any outings should go very smoothly.
