I agree there needs to be health care reform, but not restructure as the Obama health care plan calls for. It calls for a government run system. The person with terminal cancer who posted would not recieve treatment under this plan. The way it works is you go to the front of the line if you are young to middle aged and healthy. If you are a child, elderly, or chronically ill, you go to the back. That's why so many canadians come to america and pay cash for treatment when it's free at home. The canadian system is what the plan is modeled after. The united kingdom also has adopted this with little to no success. If anyone here knows how the VA works as far as treatment goes, it's very similar, but the waits you face at the VA ( 7 months for an emergency MRI for an example i read about) would be a walk in the park. Everyone should take a look at the plan before deciding which side to take, being informed could save us!

We would not know the effects of the change until it is too late. AND - It could be bad.

Does anyone have a medicare advantage plan? I would like to have info on this. There are so many and it is hard to know which one to choose or if you should stay with the original medicare. Is one of the plans any better than the original plan? Need info from someone who has one.

Take a look at Today's Options. I have a friend that has it and if they have it it must be good. He has researched everything to death.

First go to your Dr. then to the Hospital and ask them what they take.

Trejrhntr......You are right on. I am 72 years old and have been following this country's welfare programs for many years. It will eventually cause the collapse of this country but our elected officials (Democrats & Republicans) are only interested in feathering their own nest......
