Every man woman and child deserves adequate health care. You cannot enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness if you cannot afford to see a Dr. or pay for medicine.

Nobody "deserves" anything unless they are willing to go out, work for it, and obtain it like the rest of us who do. Anything else is socialism and I am telling you - this issues is going to create a conservative revival the likes of which has never been seen, come next election time.

My wife and kids lost their health insurance due to budget cuts where I work so don't start telling me I don't know what it's like.

It boils down to responsibility and it is MY responsibility to provide for my family, not the government. It's also not my responsibility to pay for health insurance for your family or some welfare mom's 9 kids! But I probably will if this thing gets passed...so will my kids and their kids because the money is just not their to pay for it.

Social medicine has not worked in other countries and it won't in the U.S. What needs to be done is freeing up regulations of healthcare here in America, not more regulations.

Keep letting the government in and you will never get them out. Thi problem should be fixed but not by them. They have no limits and when they decide to take what little freedoms we have left then what. Trade them for something els. Yes the system is broke but they ARE NIT the ones to fix it. It has been broke for years and neither party has had the nads to try and fix it. And this bunch cant stop fighting long enough to get anything done. From local thru state all the way to D.C. the system is busted.

why should I have to pay for someone else's healthcare, as well as my own and my children's. I guess I should quit my job and join the rest of the lazy people and head to the welfare office.

He has no uidea of how to run this country.
He spends too much time on vacations and having partys at tax payers expense and doesn't seem to care about the little people.

If you quit breeding with dogs you might see the light...and quit barking at the moon.
