There needs to be an option besides paying $1000 a month for health care in 10 years.

Cover 47 million new people and it's going to be tax neutral? I don't think so.

Medicare is unfunded to the tune of 33 Trillion dollars. Medicaid is broke. Social Security. Broke. The feds can't even run the Post Office profitable and THAT'S a monopoly! Who the hell believes that they can operate government run healthcare without hugh deficits, cost overruns and rationing? Not me. I'm not that stupid.

They vote on bills that aren't read and some that are not written and I should believe that they can get this done cost neutral only if they let everybody die over the age of 50, the liars.

Our government is out of control. When they pass the current healthcare bill tonight, it's the begining of the end of America as we know it. The land of Liberty and Freedom will become the land of tyranny and serfdom.

This health care bill is a reflection of how low our education system has sunk in America. To think that an educated person that hasn't read the bill would claim its good for America is as low brain as you can get. Voters that support their senators and congressman that vote for the bill got to be idiots not to know this health care bill rations benefits rather then improve benefits. More people will be dying from the lack of health care benefits then ever before.

Why would someone work to destroy the best health care system the world has to offer? Maybe it needs some alterations, but this is NOT the change we need.

The country cannot afford to implement the proposals in the health care package. The details need to be examined but Congress and Obama are ramrodding it through before we get a chance to really understand it. The power brokers supporting it are the same folks who instigated the subprime mortgage crisis. They want to literally give away what we pay in taxes to build up their voter base among those who won't or don't contribute.

outrageous that insurance companies have been denying or canceling coverage to folks with pre-existing conditions, that so many have no coverage at all, & that so many foolish people have believed the utter lies spread against improving our system. It's broken, we need to fix it ASAP.

Oh god I wish the Republicans were back in charge! I can only hope this nightmare comes closer to ending in 2010. No more Democrats - EVER! No more tax and spend! If the President signs it, we need to mount a campaign to repeal this garbage!

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
