It is a reform which is long overdue. If the reform fails again it will both show the power of the special interests and the weakness of our representatives in resisting the financial influence of these interest and contempt for voters.

The mass of propaganda, lies and distortion against the proposed reform has both confused and frighten many voters, especial the senior citizen. The Insurance industry, its lobbyists and political surrogates have repeated the same scare strategy that has maintained the status quo for the last eighty or more years. A vice-president of a leading Insurance Company state on PBS and in testifying before the Senate that the Insurance cartel's goal was to maintain the status quo and would spent as much as was need to thwart any change.
