That is 100 percent correct. That is why I support the plan!

I can not support anything that offers services for people that are here illegally that my tax dollars are paying for. I do feel that as a nation we are in a health care crisis that there is not a easy solution for. Yes we need to do something to help but I feel the question still remains of what when and how.
You obviously have no clue what the plan is about.

Are you aware illegals are, and have been getting health care because they cannot be denied coverage. They simply go to the emergency room for all ailments. I don't like this anymore than you but it is a separate issue.

The plan is basic premise is one that will require working people to carry health insurance. This means that instead of my having a new car in my driveway I will be carrying insurance so if I become ill, you will not have to pay my bills.

You're assumption is that you have to pay my bills because I don't carry health insurance.
The mandate requires every citizen (once again containing an exlusion for some, creating another group with special privileges) to purchase a product/service; this mandate backed by the force of government. If you accept this premise, then you accept the chains of slavery on your neck because this doesn't benefit anyone more than it does the insurance companies, given this new group of "customers" by the very government we have empowered to guarantee our rights.
My government doesn't decide if I get a new car or a healthcare policy.

Is it different than carrying car or business insurance?
It it right for me to expect you to pay my bill if I get sick.
Like I said, if the republicans put this plan forward you would be calling yourself a liberal fool.

As far as benefiting the insurance companies....why were they pumping all those $$'s into Mass and Brown?

You seem to forget about regulation.

Report from Froma Harrop:
Opinion of TV MAN:

Massachusetts was the worst state in which to test the wider public's feelings about national health care reform. Polls showed people in Massachusetts, as elsewhere, unhappy with the legislation in Washington. But those numbers include many who thought the reforms were a meaningless question to people who already have something.
The foes of health reform have long used a divide-and-conquer strategy in crafting an anti-reform coalition.
They pit those who have government-guaranteed health care, such as the elderly, against those who don't.
Rest assured that if there were no Medicare, the older folks with TEA BAGS stapled to their hats would be on the other side of the barricades.
Medicare is the most socialized element of the American health care system.
Brown approves of socialized health insurance.
He voted for it in 2006 for his own state.
Now he doesn't want to lose it.
Can you blame him.

Here is an interesting link describing the thoughts of many...they simply don't want to lose what 68% are happy with.
People in this country don't want to lose any of their pie....which to most is Government provided.

I live in a rural area and every farmer and rancher is taking advantage of Fed programs. When I see Hummers with farm plates it pisses me off. Of course to them.....no one else should have any Government money or perks. Only farmers and ranchers.

We pay for illegals to visit our hospital ERs for free. I will not ever hire an illegal to do any work, pay them cash, and let them escape paying tax. I will hire hose A and hose B for 2 tacos per hour before I give money! If they work extra hard I will throw in a jalapeno.

We do have, and have had a system where illegals get free medical by simply going to the emergency room. This has nothing to do with the health care package.
It is a separate issue that needs to be addressed by someone....not sure who ever will?

I must admit, as the owner of a Construction company, I like what you say about hiring tax paying people. I wish more of my union friends would have that train of thought.
