I oppose because I do not want mandatory health care unless the poor and middle class are given a decent break. I know many who cannot even afford $100 per month and why should they get a penalty or imprisonment for being poor. Do they want millions of americans in jail because they cannot afford healthcare? No, I do not want the government breathing down my healthcare rights and attacking medicare which they said would go bankrupt and now they want to take away those who depend on it. NO, No. NO. to Obama's and democrats ideas. A thousand times no. I do think we need to get health care in this country for the poor who cannot afford medical and dental for whatever reason but not this way.

Let's blame past programs problems on the right things so we can learn something...

Medicare and SS were fine until some bastard politicians began tapping into the money...

Further, consider who is paying for healthcare now...

THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF BANKRUPTCY IN AMERICA: MEDICAL BILLS, and who pays for the bankrupt?...all of us consumers and taxpayers get hit for the bankrupt, no way to deny it

EMERGENCY ROOMS ARE SWAMPED WITH NON-EMERGENCY CALLS BECAUSE FEW OF THE WORKING POOR AND IMMIGRANTS HAVE INSURANCE. WHO ENDS UP PAYING FOR THIS? SEE ABOVE, DUH.

We are already paying enourmous costs for not having health care better managed and more universal.

This debate is not about protecting Americans or humans, this debate is about politicians defending those who funded their meteoric rise to power.

and half of you fools are defending those who would profit off of our fear, pain and deaths...
