It is high time we had national health insurance. We are being ripped off by insurance companies.

Health Reform needs to be incremental not all encompassing and shouldn't be shoved down our throats. There are too many hidden cost that are not being discussed.

Under the Pelosi plan, AARP stands to make millions of dollars from the sale of Medigap policies to the 11 million seniors who will lose their Medicare Advantage plans. This little change will cost a single couple anywhere from $100 -$1,000 more per month. Why isn't anyone talking about this?

Under the Pelosi plan, people who have preexisting conditions will no longer be denied coverage BUT, even under the Public Option, they will have to pay 100% MORE than other people with the same coverage. Why isn't anyone talking about this?

We need a universal plan. there are tons of ignorant americans out here that are only for themself. today bcbs tried to quote me 290.00 because i'm 40lbs over weight to them, when that 40lbs is muscle... they're pathetic, out healthcare system is sad, it's over priced and we need a change. I'd love for a universal healthcare plan, but by the looks of it, all the stupid american public we have, and the greedy insurance companies that may never come. This healthcare problem is the only thing that makes America a dime short of pure greatness... And i'm American! just fet up with this yo yo bull crap that all our american people have to suffer due to greed.. do you think i care about the doctors? pay check requirements? "No I don't" you don't get into healthcare to worry about making 23 million a year etc... the hell with their saleries! lets care more about the human life.. I am all for universal healthcare or for affordable healthcare.

You haven't been paying attention. Under the Pelosi plan, if you are overweight, a smoker, a drinker, etc., you will be penalized.
You will pay more. Granted, you can't be denied care..but you will pay. The only difference is now, we, the taxpayers will be footing the bill for those who can't afford it. That is not acceptable.

I think we all agree that we need healthcare reform but this bill is not the answer.

The current plan calls for an increase of $12 BILLION dollars to community clinics...Why? According to the talking heads, everyone will have health insurance. These clinics will now receive payment from insurance companies so why the increase? The answer: So they can continue to provide care to illegal aliens.

We need a bill that deals with premium gouging, preexisting conditions and coverage for single adults without children. Get rid of everything else then lets see where we are in five years before adding on more regulations. This bill makes the taxpayer pay the bill for those who are irresponsible.

Nobody should get a free ride. Under the H.R. 3962 a family of four making $78,000 a year can get help paying their premiums. Why?
People need to be taught to save for the things that matter and stop wasting money on things like new cars and expensive vacations.
I resent giving taxpayer money to these people.

No one should get free medical care. No one. I don't care if it is $5.00....everyone should have to pay something.
