The Government can't run anything right. Post Office, Medicare, Mediaid, Bail Outs Stimulus, Cash for clunkers, and finally Obama is a Marxist. God Bless America

Too much big brother government as it is. I do not want the government telling me I can afford and will afford to pay for health care or be fined for refusing to do so.

If you remove the ban from crossing state lines to purchase health insurance the competition would be there to reduce the price to everyone. Also eliminate frivolous lawsuits and the costs would go down to the doctors. We don't need the same government that looted social security and pays $700 for a toilet seat.

Read and/or listen to the wording out of the horses' mouth's, not the fluff from the tongues of fear mongers who are afraid of change or the politicians and their lobbyist buddies would loose excessive profits and "gifts".(ie: insurance co's, drug co's, wallstreet, etc,,,)

Whatever bill that may be passed will be a long shot. The consequences of "business as norm" and doing nothing will ultimately come to a head like a pimple. And you don't have to guess what happens next.

I'm looking forward to government run healthcare. Anyone who thinks we haven't already been living in a socialist society hasn't been paying very close attention. Socialism done right works for the people. I do find it disturbing when over half the nation screams about the government using funds to assist other nations citing starving, poor people within our borders then when they elect to do something to improve our own nation using those very funds noone wants to turn out their pockets to help one another. With people like this living in northern michigan, it's no wonder the economy is worse up here.

I look forward to the government option knowing you're paying for my family healthcare, and I'll be paying for yours. I'll chuckle all the way to the ER.

Too bad the ER will be closed when you get there.

Socialism done right? The problem is that socialism can only work one way. Since there is no incentive to work there will be no production. The only way to get production is to have a ruling class that forces the proletariate to work "for the good of everyone". It is a system where everyone is "equal". Only some are more equal than others. For examples of how well it works just look at the totalitarian governments of the past.

The only place I could think of where socialism would work is on an island of one.

I predict that you will have nothing of value to say, ever.
