Gun Laws Debate - Suffolk, VA
Does the US need to reform its gun laws?

Current gun laws restrict our 2nd amendment rights. The result is fewer law abiding citizens are able to protect themselves, their families, you and I from criminals intending harm on others while at the same time criminals are more likely to commit crimes because there is a lower chance of facing an armed citizen while conducting a crime. It's illegal to speed in a car but we don't restrict cars from being sold to anyone so why does it make sense to restrict our 2nd amendment rights when murder is already illegal?Remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
