If you answer yes, it appears that you want more firearm control.
This country does need to reform it's gun laws, but it needs to lighten up on them.
The constitution states any law restricting firearms that Congress passes is unconstitutional. So, we do need gun law reform, but we need to take them back to 1960 levels. All the laws that have been passed have done nothing to curb crime, but they have made felons of good honest citizens!

no need to posess a gun other than a rifle for hunting.

They don't enforce existing laws and they want to make new ones?Mental health is what needs to be addressed all these recent shootings were by mentally ill people.Responsible gun owners keep firearms secured against unauthorized usage a gun safe is a small price to pay for piece of mind.
