In its present form, there is no need of reform, simply enforce the currant law as it stands.

I think gun laws are fine in the hands if registered gun owners that have gone thru training. I feel in todays society they are needed, but in the right hands.

There IS a need to reform, to bring gun laws back in line with the Second Amendment. Laws like the Gun Control Act of 1968 and its "sporting purpose" clause have no Constitutional basis, and the Lautenberg Amendment as a poorly written ex post facto law is Unconstitutional.
Any law that disarms the citizenry and increases the ability of the government to rule over them without their consent, is contrary to the intent of the Second Amendment and oversteps the limited authority of the government.
The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is an important check and balance against tyranny, just like the three branches of government.
