More and more often LE cannot respond to an emergency, too few for the population. They are inadequately armed and too restricted where they need to be able to use their judgement and follow their training. In this, their unions are NOT on their side! Due to the longer and longer response times we can no longer rely on LE to 'Protect And Serve' as we should. Because of this, we need to eliminate 'Gun Free Zones', we need to allow more CCW permits to be issued, we need to enforce the gun laws we already have (Obama's 'Fast And Furious' shows that even our own Government has no problem with violating gun laws)- in short, if the Government can't protect and defend us, then we need to take matters into our own hands.

This is what the 2nd Amendment is all about. This is ALSO why Liberals are so adamant about repealing it. It takes control away from the government and puts it in the hands of the people -

I fail to see how gun laws are gonna effect criminals. you can change the law 1000 times, you can make all fire arms illegal across the board, and criminals will still have them.

The only difference is The People will not.
The country seems to be falling into disrepair, jobs being shipped over seas, good neighborhoods are being turned into slums, the government serving them selves at the expense of the people uninhibited. it seems to be getting so bad that bringing a new life into this world is is like committing the ultimate sin why would someone want to bring a new life into a world where the economy is dieing from over-harvesting and climate change.

they say "myke shall inherit the earth"
they say "the Mexicans are taking over"
they say "Global warming will bring on the next ice age"

what kind of drastic action has to take place to correct all of this assuming it can be corrected.

Changing gun Laws wouldnt stop anything that has to do with criminals. Criminals would exploit it as becomes a black market. Guns would still be widely availble in the underworld. Might stop some non premedated murders but at the expense of our 2nd amendment.

Why? Because you are a murderer yourself?
