98 percent of gun deaths are caused by ILLEGAL WEAPONS. Gun laws that control the sale of legal weapons will not combat the problem. We have to get Ilegal weapons off the street and stop with the other nonsense.

Gun laws unfortunately don't work. If someone wants a gun they will get it legally or illegally. Gun laws are only for law abiding citizens.

How do you do that? How do you get the illegal guns off the street? I have at least one suggestion, start by prosecuting every legal gun owner that DOES NOT successfully lock their weapons away from all but those with the determined intent. If an average someone can walk into your house and steal or use your weapons within a few minutes, then how truly secure is the weapon? If firearms are much more difficult to steal then criminals will have to choose to find weapons by other means, which will likely lead to fewer criminals with firearms and more arrests.
