More gun laws will only restrict the honest people they will do nothing to prevent the criminals from getting them and using them.

Kinda of like the drug cartels use in Mexico to kill people and each other. With all the gun laws and gun cantrol they have in that country?

Guns are inanimate objects without brains. It takes a human-being to use the gun in an inappropriate or unsafe manor in order to hurt someone. Education, tolerance and respect of our fellow man is the answer. Not more laws or taking our ability to protect ourselves away from us. After all, a bully only picks on those who can't or won't stand up and protect themselves. Stand up and protect the greatest country on earth and its Constitution and Bill of Rights. Say yes to freedom and no to oppression.

We need to make it harder to get semiautomatic rifles and make it impossible to get the 30 round clips for the weapons. Clips for semiautomatic handguns should be limited to the manufactures original design with the exception for peace officers and then only through their departments with notice to ATF who has them and the serial numbers so the officer cannot sell them to anyone other than the police department.
Arizona: suspect had extended magazine clips for 30 rounds on his hand gun.
Aurora: suspect had a drum clip with 100 round capacity.
Does that tell you a civilian needs these weapons and accessories? No.
Even with the ability to have a concealed weapon at the theater, there would have been more casualties due to the cross fire and the fact he had body armor.

Limit the weapons and you limit the ability for self protection. We don't need anymore restrictions on guns or ammo at all.
If I want a 30 round clip then why not? If I want a 100 round drum why not?
We can not say that there would have been more casualties at the theater if others had been armed just as we can not say there would have been fewer it is 100% speculation on both of those statements.
I only know that personally I would have felt better having a gun when this guiy started shooting had I been there.
The question that comes to mind is why did no one that was next to him take any action? With him in the middle of people no one could grab him?
Either way it matters not. What is done is done and no laws will prevent it from happening again.
Outlaw the extended clips, I buy them underground. Outlaw the drums I buy them underground. I could also make them myself easily.

The the Federal government closes all the web site for gun parts and manufactures with stiff penalties not only to them but to the buyers. Make it a federal felony.

You are not protecting your family with an extended clip or drum clip: you are preparing for war with the police and the federal government like Ruby Ridge and Waco and the Symbioses liberation front..

And your point is? I want the same advantage that they have so yep I am preparing for war. War with any slimeball that would try something stupid around my area.
By the way I think what you were trying to say was, "Symbionese Liberation Army" not the, Symbioses Liberation Front".

The Feds can close all they like. They can never stop it. They have tried. It doesn't work. they only thing they do with their stupid gun laws is screw with honest people the criminals will always get what they want.
Try to legally get a gun in NYC it is near impossible yet there are guns all over the street so how much good are their gun laws doing?

Just as a side note here to show my point.
Four of the top five worst cases of violence by a gunman were outside the USA in countries that have much stricter gun laws. The USA came in at #4 with the VT Shootings.
#1 was Norway with 77 killed 151 wounded.
#2 was South Korea with 57 killed 35 wounded.
#3 was Australia with 35 killed 21 wounded.
#4 was Virginia Tech with 32 Killed 25 wounded
#5 was Columbia with 30 killed 15 wounded.

So gun laws don't solve anything. They simply make it less of a risk for the criminal to shoot as he knows in most instances he won't draw return fire.

and every one of those instances are when the people had the ability to buy extended round magazines. How many would have died if the limit was 15 rounds? Too bad they think they need semiautomatic rifles with large capacity clips. That makes them in and of itself mentally sick.

Ok I agreeing with you on this one. The only one I can remember in NYC getting in trouble and going to jail for a year or 2 was Plaxico Buress that played for the NY Giants in the NFL when he shot himself in the pecker at a nightclub a few years ago.

It takes less than 5 seconds to load another MAGAZINE so exactly as many.

Do your research. FOR YOUR INFO

so called " assault weapon " crime is so low than no government agency tracks it separately from rifles.
Rifles are the least used criminal firearm , SHOTGUNS account for more homicides .
All rifles, including bolt, semi , single shot, pump account for less than 3 percent of total firearm crime!
Do your homework for once fools

Wanting extwended clips in no way makes anyone, "Mentally sick". What it makes them is prepared.
Now what is the difference between me having a 30 round clip or 2 15's back to back? In my case about a second. Now I see no reason to limit the size of the clip or the drum. If I am holding the gun for protevtion I want every advantage I can get and that includes larger capacity clips and drums as well as a variety of weapons to choose from and lots of ammo for those weapons.
I have a number of different style weapons including semi-auto hand guns, revolvers, shotguns, pump action, bolt action rifles and semi-auto rifles. All of them are kept in top condition and ready for action in a matter of seconds.
Now does that make me as you claim, "Mentally Sick"? No it makes me prepared.

Good point ya got there. When seconds count police are only minutes or hours away right.
