Since the most recent shooting, once again, Obama and his cronies are railing against White people who own guns for defensive purposes. Perhaps the nation would be better served were Obama and his pals to direct their attention to their Hollywood pals who produce the morally degenerate and sadistic films that provoke such behavior.

Disagreement here. It is not the morally degenerate and sadistic films that provoke behavior, the person who mimics such things are already mentally bankrupt people just like Holmes. I can watch a violent film or a violent video game with a lot of guns and gore in it and I won't even try to mimic it because I can clearly differentiate between reality and fantasy. I know that if I go in a theatre and shoot the shit out of everyone in there, I'll end up in prison or dead by someone who shoots me or executes me by the law. The only reason Obama is railing against guns in general (good thing, proves he is not working for the NRA) is because it is for political reasons which, if you didn't know, Obama is a politician. Gun control is popular in the country among independents and I believe in moderate and reasonable gun control but no outright gun banning or mandating ever person to own a gun since both can cause trouble. I will agree that our culture is violent and sadistic and that is one thing we should work to better but the amount of guns that are allowed to be bought is another problem as well as the fact that we spend so little on mental rehabilitation centers. There are many factors that go into this but what I know for sure is that the NRA are way too powerful and need to be cut off from politics and other country's gun laws.

Well, first of all, Big Governmental revolutionary activists who attack the NRA are doing the same thing they did when they attacked *(the now nationalized")* Big Tobacco industry. By attacking Big Tobacco, Big Government activists were able to bypass their millions of decent customers by ignoring the fact that there is much support for tobacco products among "the little folk". These radical Big Government activists could never have been able to increase taxes on tobacco products, as well as getting their foot in the door to establish the legal precedent of imposing ever greater Governmental taxation and control over products and people that have absolutely nothing to do with tobacco. Sugar, salt, soft drinks, and global warming causing toilet paper are likely next in line.

I agree with you when you say that, as a result of Big Government usurpation of areas formally left to the individual, that there has become large numbers of mentally bankrupt individuals who are unable to exercise self-control as a result of their inability to distinguish between reality and fantasy. Why encourage them to act out their violent fantasies by allowing the culture distorting termites to produce ever more morally and culturally degenerate and demented violent fantasies that - foreseeably - set off individuals such as taxpayer supported Government college student, Holmes - individuals who are predisposed to acting out their fantasies?

Tougher gun laws will only effect honest people; the bad actors will always be able to acquire all types of weapons. It would be more appropriate to reform the criminal justice system with a speedy death penalty.

Law abiding citizens should and have the right to own weapons. Criminals will always have a way to own guns. I don't believe that law abiding citizens should be deprived of defending themselves and their families.

My family, friends & I supported the Democrat Party and President Obama this past election.
No one mention anything about gun-control. After this, I could never vote for Joe Biden for
anything, he's trying to make a joke out of the 2nd amendment with that shotgun comment. Why doesn’t someone show some pictures of the Military National Cemetery Burial Sites? They died for all our amendments.
