Yes, I believe REFORM is necessary, not an outright BAN.

Jay is doing what many do - blame the gun for the violence. It's not accurate, nor is it intelligent. If our courts actually PUNISHED criminals, it would deter crime. Also, those cities with the "strongest" gun control laws have the highest amount of violent crime - including gun violence! It's not my opinion, it's FACT - look it up and you will see.(Chicago, Washington DC, Detroit, Baltimore, Los Angeles, etc)- guns and law-abiding citizens are NOT the problem and further restrictions only hurt them. Criminals don't follow the laws we have now, so why would you expect more gun laws to be the answer???

It's a lack of people being brave enough to carry a firearm. To bear arms is to suffer them for the greater good. Women bear children. We bear pain. It is enduring despite possible unpleasantness because it's right to do so. When we chose not to bear the burden of arms we are killed by those that do and as a fact most of those who kill could have been killed yet were not. Suffer arms for your friends, your family and your fellow Americans.

Assault rifles are already banned, you need a class three weapons permit which has stringent background checks. An Assault Rifle is a fully automatic weapon.

It needs to get rid of them because the only constitutional way to modify or overturn an amendment is with another amendment. How is it that so many people miss this?
