Would you support a ban on handguns?

...for the same reason I would not support a ban of speech.

The right to self defense is a natural right. No government may ever deny that right.

I see no reason for anyone to own a handgun. They are not used for hunting in which someone may see as sport, or a food source. If we use the arguement that we are protecting our families, then who are we protecting them from, but others who think they are protecting themselves until they decide to do something criminal.

Bans are useless feel-good garbage and serve no purpose other than to make nanny state legislators pretend they're accomplishing something other than sucking up more and more of our money in taxes. Scumbags will still have weapons, and we (law abiding, honest folks) won't have any way to stop them and protect our loved ones from their filth. I'll keep mine, thanks... Remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away... Criminals count on it, so should you!

You really are clueless. Handguns are indeed used for hunting. And the 2nd Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs.
And the Dept. of Justice numbers on crime proe that it is real. Now stick your head back in the sand.
