Guns are not the problem. Our society is breaking down. You'll need those guns in your homes someday soon...Don't let them take your rights away. History shows that in countries where guns are taken out of the peoples hands soon those countries become radical dictatorships where citizens are prosecuted and put to death for minor offenses. The powerful (the government who still have their the guns) Will become very oppressive when we lose our right to bear arms.

Not only is it our consitutional right to bear arms, its an almost impossible ban to enact. Can you imagine law enforcement or anyone trying to remove guns from every gun owner in this country?

If you're using a "30-30 deer rifle" to hunt deer in Indiana you're a crook anyway.

I carry a weapon everywhere I go. I would never pull my gun unless I planned on using the weapon. The problem with gun laws are they are targeted to squelch crime but disarm law biding citizens. Gun laws do not affect the criminals it only helps them commit violent crimes without coming in contact with law biding gun carrying citizens.

A ban on handguns is simply a way to empower criminals. EVERY criminal in this town would LOVE to have a ban on handguns. Much less chance of on the job injuries.

Cledus, you are correct, in Indiana. The hunting laws in Indiana were thought up by 5 year olds and are stupid. Most ever other state you can use just about anything you want. Indiana moronized their hunting laws years ago.

...and he never said he was hunting deer with a "30-30 deer rifle". A 30-30 lever action (most notably the Winchester 94) is known as "America's Favorite Deer Rifle". Its a historic label.

Doh! PWN3D.

But, to assume he was, maybe he is a sovereign and those "citizen" laws you tax slaves have to abide by don't apply to him. Of course you wouldn't know that. In your mind there is only one set of "laws". Simplecitizens or SimpletonCitizens don't know the difference between the use of word magic color of law statutes and cods and real common law. To them, there is just "The Law" and anyone that is a "Law Enforcement Officer" knows all about it and will tell you what you can and can't do. Hmmmm. Sounds like laws for a 5 year old.

Legalese is what the enemy speaks and you believe him. Mature a bit, study common law and you'll find that shooting deer with a 30-30 is still illegal but is entirely lawful. But, don't get caught! The corporation will fine you for killing "their" livestock, of which you are also a part, btw. They own you... and your 30-30.

Sovereigns see things differently. They see it lawfully under Common Law. Under that system, which is still fully and completely in place, the only things that constitute a crime is that which has a "corpus electi", a victim....and the state, which is a corporate fiction, is a myth, an imaginary entity and cannot claim common law rights. It is powerless and common law renders the state and its officers null and void.

This moment of truth brought to you by TEOTWAWKI. Someone who's only a slave when it benefits him.

Live like you are free....because you are.

Tell me why bad people(criminals) should be the only ones with guns? You know who gets permits? The normal people, that will never use them for harm an innocent. If you take away all the guns they will just use knives...BAN THE KNIVES! Yea that would be next, then all the people with bad intentions would see the world anew and get jobs and live clean lives, never needing to to another harm for greed, drugs or plain craziness... Maybe if we actually enforced the laws we had or actually punised inmates they would be scared of going to jail not just a place to go when they get caught. Cuz its never their fault anyway. You didnt need that extra car, or tv. ugh...

Actually, you're wrong on one thing there, guy.

People can, absolutely, 100% legally buy full-auto AK's. You just have to pay the $200 (unless they raised it) stamp tax on it. But, they are few and far between and VERY expensive.

...and it has to have been manufactured before 1986.

But, to reinforce your point: No, there is really nothing different between the two weapons, conceptually.

However, one thing that nobody realizes: Neither an autoloading AK or a 30-30 levergun are assault rifles. An assault rifle, by definition, is fully automatic, firing the next round as soon as the bolt slams shut without taking your finger off the trigger. Neither of these guns do that and are therefore, legally, classified the same. Only stupid people with gun psychosis would say anything any different.

Only a fool would ban guns in America, use common scense, only law abiddeing people would obide by law.You should have a choice to protect you and or your family, dont need the govmt.to choose for me.Police only protect after the fact, its not there job,or have the time,or the man power to be by your house every 3 min.If you dont feel comfortable around weapons around you, then i would move to a gun free zone, then see what happens when your neighbor isnt there to protect you.

actually I use an AR to hunt deer in Indiana bushmaster 450 just became legal in 2012. So my supposed "assault rifle" is solely used for hunting. They want us all to be impotent homoes in this country. Ya sometimes almost have to ask yourself of this country even deserves to survive with the path it is going down. It's just sad.
