The second amendment gives us the right to bear arms and we should never give up the right to defend ourselves and our families. Criminals will always have guns and we need to be able to protect our homes from them.

Automatics are legal for those whoo purchase the proper stamps. When was the last time you personally heard of a shooting by an owner of one of those? When was the last time you heard of any crime committed by an automatic weapon?
Close to half of all hunting rifles are semi-automatic. If they are so bad, why isn't the murder rate much higher?
Why are semi-auto hadguns so much worse than revolvers?
