this is absolutely insane. how dare ANYONE try to control my CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to own and bear arms. who ever votes for this nonsense, obviously, has very little understanding of what can happen when the government completely disarms the population. a ban handguns is just the beginning. the federal government is being allowed to intrude into many matters which should be left to the individual, or at MOST the state to decide on. we need LESS big government,... not more! Our founding fathers must be rolling in their graves.

I've never been to louisiana but I have 2 brothers-in law and 2 sisters-inlaw, as well as 2 nephews and a neice that live there. By knowing them for years I must make one comment here: GUN CONTROL has one meaning to a cajun.... Havin a keen eye and a steady trigger finger when its time to fire! Lmao gun control and louisiana shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence! HeHeHe I'm in Tennessee, my grandfathers favorite line was "they can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead fingers"
