Why would we want to ban guns! We would only hurt the good guy's. All the bad guy's already have guns and don't buy their guns from the store. I want to protect my family if I need to. Yes to guns.

Really looks like this country (definitely Californiatard) is going to decend into chaos. When things start getting really nasty I wonder if Big Brother will start confiscating guns like they did during Katrina????

Times of civil unrest and lawlessness are the times when law abiding citizens need thier arms the most. That is also the Time BB will want to "collect" them from you.

Time to stock up on guns, ammo, canned food and a huge blockhead type dog.

I have a question that maybe some one on here might know, I am confused. I was born and raised in the pacific northwest and am new to san diego area. I have always had a concealed pistol license were im from and its honsetly become a way of life for me. I thank god that I have never needed it but let me tell you its good to know that if i ever did I would have it.
What I dont understand is why it seems almost impossible for just a regular every day guy like me to get that kind of permit down here? It seems like it would be even more resonable down here to have one being so close to the border and all that I am amazed at the fact that an upstanding citezen that has carried elsewhere his whole life just simply cant here unless I own a bussiness or someother reason that I dont fit the critera for.
any insight would be helpfull.

Thanks!

Welcome to The Peoples Republic Of Californiatard. The fact is this is an Extreme Left Wing State, I am suprised that you can own a gun in your house.......concealed permit.......ha....that is for rich politicians.

This will probably be the first failed state of the country, when the SHTF you will not be able to rely on the state or federal government to keep order, best to be packin no matter what Big Brother tells you.

I am over regulated already. Few of us can obtain licenses to carry a concealed weapon.

I think that people that carry gun's are scare and don't blame them. But that causes a triggy finger. And also are looking for trouble to come to them. Take it from a Viet-nam Vet1

Handguns are made for concealment, and killing people. There is not legitemate reason to have one.
So rifles aren't for killing people? Shotguns aren't for killing people?
Handguns are made for easy use particualrly in tight quarters and where lack of strength is a possiblity.
As to there not being a legitimate reason to have one...well, it's called the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs.
And we don't need your permission to own one.

Let's use some of your logic?
Do you have fire extinguishers in your home? If so, you must be scared.
Do you have homeowner's insurance? If so, you must be scared.
Do you have car insurance? If so, you must be scared.

Really? So anyone that owns a gun has a trigger finger? And I'm supposed to nelieve you becasue you're a VietNam vet? Why is that?

You didn't supply any cites to back up your assertions. Why is that?

Handguns are simply tools to be used or misused by their operators and owners. With training and responsibility, there is no reason not to own and even carry handguns.

a ban on hand guns would only benefit the criminals. They will always be able to be armed. I also want to be armed if i wish.

Why would you support a ban? A ban on criminals makes far more sense.

California already has strong gun control laws. Are they crime free? Last I checked they had higher crime than states with less gun laws?

Didn't Prohibition teach folks things about what happens when you ban them? And any half-talented redneck can make a zip gun; banning guns only serves to take them away from the law abiding.

I am 83 and I have owned a gun since I as 7 and I own several now. Guns have saved my life two times, if I had not had a gun I would have died. There are 80 million of us who have guns, who the hell dares to think they can take our guns, that would start one helluva battle. Obama, Holder and Feinstein want to take our guns, JUST LET THE TRY!!!
