Anyone with a gun, knife, or club, or who is physically stronger, or who out number us, or who is crazy would have control, and could hurt you, take what they want, and maime or kill you and your family.

Not a ban, really, but there have to be restrictions. I'm all for a safely kept hunting rifle, but a hand gun is really only designed for one thing. If u ban them all together families may be left unprotected against intruders who DO have guns. But I think they also leave the temptation open for unnecessary violence and accidents that could result in death. I don't think you should be allowed to carry a handgun in your car, and at home it should be securely locked, combination lock, and stored.

I think everyone that qualifies should have a CC permit and use it. If the crooks and thugs know it is more likely that you might be armmed most would think twice before commiting a crime against you. WAKE UP MAN.

I understand the need. But at what risk.. You have to decide which is more likely... Your child getting hold of your gun and having a fatal accident, or someone breaking into your home and killing you and yours... Its not an easy conversation and I understand both sides... But my tendencies lean towards regulation, and not prohibition, ass opposed to free reign.

The criminals are still going to carry weapons regardless of a "ban" and then really get out of control knowing the good guys are unarmed. No way.

And what is that, Dan?

Oh, so guns have some magic power over people?

is that because criminals only attack you in your home?

How does that work if I need it for the 3AM intruder?

Oh, so rather than teaching your child you would hide it where they would be suspicious about what it is?
