Honestly I would. There is no necessity to owning a hand gun these days except for in your own home, put away, in case of a dire emergency. I am sick of not being able to hike on a week day because drunken hunters are in the woods all around our town. I am sick of hearing gun shots on a regular basis, more then I ever heard in the poorest regions of our states large cities... ban them! I am sick of the perpetual redneck mentality in the area and guns, and the lifestyle of the owners, contributes.

So you think disarming people and rendering them defenseless is a god idea?

Really? Is that because criminals never attack outside of the home? Who are you to decide what is a necessity when it comes to exercising rights and liberties?

Really? So all of those hunters are drinking? Do they outnumber the drivers that drink?

Oh, so because you don't like the noise but you refuse to move, everyone else needs to give up their right to own firearms. How noble.

Your arguments are incredibly flawed. Defenseless? How often is a gun used in the area in self defense? I mean come on...this is 2011 and we are not living in Iraq, we are in Pennsylvania, in a small town community. How often do you personally shoot criminals engaging in criminal activity outside your home? Ever? And if you did, would you not go to jail for taking the law in your own hands? YES. As far as drunken hunters.. go to any bar after dark and you will see them come in, already smashed, but inside because they can't see to kill. Drinking and driving is not the issue up for discussion so do not waste your time trying to talk about something else, start a new thread...Rednecks suck and if saying so makes me noble then so be it.

Guns are used for defense over 800000 per year in this country. These are just reported figures, not when the gun was not fired or just not reported. No one knows how many crimes are prevented by the gun being in a home and it just being a deterrent because criminals know the owner has one. But if you look at the facts crime is ALWAYS higher in states that are anti gun.

"There are approximately two million defensive gun uses (DGU's) per year by law abiding citizens. That was one of the findings in a national survey conducted by Gary Kleck, a Florida State University criminologist in 1993. Prior to Dr. Kleck's survey, thirteen other surveys indicated a range of between 800,000 to 2.5 million DGU's annually. However these surveys each had their flaws which prompted Dr. Kleck to conduct his own study specifically tailored to estimate the number of DGU's annually.

Now, show me where my argument is flawed.

So it's your assertion that rapes, robberies and murders don't occur in Pennsylvania including small town communities? Why do you need cops then?

Shows how little you know the law. Ever heard of concealed carry permits? Think they're just for carrying within the home?
How many times have you personally had a fire? Any? If not, why do you own fire extinguishers?
I don't know anyone personally that ever got raped...so according to your logic, those women should not have a means to defend themselves. How noble.

Right...any bar. You can't supply any data to back that up so you'll foist that on us. Funny thing is, you don't seem to have a problem with all the non-hunters in that same bar walking 40 feet outside to get behind the wheel to drive. Why is that?

No, you're not noble. Just a simple minded bigot. I guess all we'll ever get from you is single-wide mentality from a double-wide ass.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to clue them in....their mind is made up. What else would you expect from a colostomy bag with ears? Someday when she's a victim (of her own stupidity), she'll blame the cops for not being there to save her sorry ass.
