If guns are outlawed, etc...Don't blaim the tool, blaim the user. Capital crimes deserve capital punishment.

Two reasons:
1. I'd become a criminal for not turning mine in.
2. The people likely to commit violent crimes definitly will not turn in theirs.

Take the rights away for people to protect themselves , I dont think so. The criminals will have guns regardless.

Let me allow one of our MOST important founding fathers give my reason.
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's teeth and keystone under Independence." --George Washington
For those of you who think that this is out dated, just take a look at history. Evey dictator throughout time has consolidated his power by banning weapons......The democrats want to ban weapons, however, most every democrate in the house and senate have concealed carry permits....Go for it Nancy!!!

While extensive evidence from Chicago and Washington DC testifies to the effectiveness of such a ban, prohibition would violate protections of the United States Constitution.
2nd amendment
Says nothing about handguns. It uses the word "arms". The concern is that Restrictions will use such vague verbage to constrict gun ownership.
