What we think isn't at issue, the integrity of the Constitution of the United States of America is. If or when we start removing our Constitutional rights without an Amendment then we re apt to lose any or all of them by the same means.

Keep in mind the old adage, "Ignore your rights and they will go away."

We must never give in to those who hate what we love. Or to those who want to take away from us what we have been given. We can't get them to accept our views so why should we let them force their views on us? Every issue or point goes both ways and has two sides. Gun ownership, however, is only one sided- a very rare occurrence, indeed, because it is 'guaranteed' in the Constitution!

Why should I give up my Right to defend myself? That would make me more stupid than the criminals.

Defending oneself in not at issue. Although many will tell you people are coming to take away your guns and abolishing your 2nd amendment rights,(an impossibility) they lie and deceive in order to keep you afraid. Fear is a wonderful weapon. It panics people like cattle in a thunder storm. It makes them run on banks, run on gas stations and sell off stock and horde guns at the most opportune times for profiteers.

I can defend my home better with a 12 guage pump shot gun than I could with a utterly useless pink or blue Mc22 or an over priced, cheaply made assault weapon knock off, made to make me feel like a bad bad boy. I don't need assault weapons or hand guns that make me look like Rambo at a Halloween party. All I need is maximum stopping power.

Being a law abiding gun owner means nothing, it simply means one has not been caught or convicted of a crime...yet. I know several law abiding gun owners who couldn't wipe their behinds correctly without explicit detailed instructions with diagrams and a training video.

Kids are killed every month because of law abiding guns owners who fail to lock their guns away from their children. These people are a bigger danger to the rest of us and our kids because they live next door. Let me give you examples of fools with weapons.

* Man accidentally kills son while cleaning his gun.

* A 12 year old boy kills relative with Xmas gun. http://thecontributor.com/12-year-old-uninten...

* Lunatic gun owner thinks guns are for snuffing out unwanted company.

* CEO thinks owning a gun makes him God. Finds out making threats is still illegal and this ain't the wild west.
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/01/21/father-...

* One more lunatic threatens to kill others because he didn't get his way, because guns are as easily available as street drugs.

* Father accidentally kills 7 year old son because he assumed gun was unloaded.

The more that are flooded into the population the more guns will be sold to criminals and idiots, the more guns will be stolen, to be taken to schools or to work and used to kill more and more people, on purpose and accidentally. If you think more guns are the answer to stopping violence, remember Ronald Reagan was surrounded with armed Secret Service agents and not one of them manged to keep him and others from being shot at close range.

Oh, so just because you know a few, you choose to make blaket assumptions about the others.

Kids are killed every month because law abiding citizens fail to lock up poisons, flammables, swimming pool gates, choke hazards, auomobiles, matches/lighters, etc.
Point?

And I will show you defensive gun uses by law-abiding citizens that you so despise.

Based on what? At what point will you turn your anger on the criminals. Or don't they share the majority of blame?

"Montana Woman Proves Guns Work Better Than Restraining Orders"

http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/montana...

A Montana woman called police to report her ex boyfriend, who she has a protective order against, was at her home.

The ex tried to enter the front door and when that didn’t work, he went around to the back and kicked in the door.

The woman, refusing to be a victim, pointed a gun at her violent ex, who then fled.

Police arrested the man later on a warrant. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.

This is a great example of a defensive gun use in which no shots were fired, no one was harmed, and the bad guy ended up behind bars.

Ladies, remember that a restraining order might be a good legal action to take, but you must be prepared to defend yourself and backup that court order with force if need be.

"[Video] TX Concealed Carrier Shoots and Kills Armed Robber During Gunfight"

http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/video/v...

According to myfoxdfw.com , a man outside of a popular convenience store in Fort Worth was forced to defend himself when another man tried to rob him in the parking lot.

A gun battle ensued which resulted in the would be victim, a carry permit holder, being rushed to the hospital and the suspected armed robber dying from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

The would be victim is expected to make a full recovery.

A gun laying on the ground in the video is a revolver, but it is unclear if this was the victim’s or robber’s weapon.

This incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.

"80-year-old Flint man fires shots at five robbery suspects"

http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/201...

FLINT, MI -- An 80-year-old Flint man fired two shots at five male teenagers attempting to rob him Thursday, April 11 in the driveway of his Helber Street home.
The homeowner called police around 9:45 p.m. to the home and told officers he'd fired two shots at the suspects, who had guns, in self defense, according to a police report.

All the suspects fled eastbound from the home towards Ballenger Highway. The homeowner thought he may have shot one of the suspects, but no shooting victim was found by police.

The investigative bureau was called to the scene for evidence collection and photographs. No arrests have been made in the case.

"Home invasion suspects killed in gunfight with NC homeowner"

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/14/home-inv...

Two men suspected of attempting to invade a home in North Carolina Friday died after a gunfight with the homeowner.

Fayetteville Police tell WTVD both robbery suspects fled the home after the exchange of gunfire. One of the suspects, 25-year-old Dominik Council, was found dead on the side of the road nearly two hours after the incident.

The other suspect, 20-year-old Xavier White, was found wounded and transported to an area hospital, where he later died, according to the station.

Police said the homeowner, who was not identified, was injured during the gunfight. Details on the individual's condition were not immediately available.

[Video] California Concealed Carrier Captures Serial Burglar at Gunpoint

http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/video/v...

The owner of a business in Oroville, CA was fed up.

He had been robbed over a dozen times in the previous months.

Police had not been able to track down and capture the thief, despite surveillance camera footage showing one of the thefts happening.

The business owner, a concealed carry permit holder, decided to take action.

He camped out at his business and when he heard a noise, he lept into action, drawing his gun and holding the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived.

The suspect and another man were taken into custody in connection with the crime. At the suspect’s home police found some of the stolen merchandise.

This is another great example of a defensive gun use in which no shots were fired, no one was hurt and the bad guy ended up behind bars.

"TX Concealed Carrier Shoots and Kills 1 of 2 Armed Street Robbers"
http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/tx-conc...

A TX resident was walking down the street at around 10:30pm after concluding an evening of shopping when a truck pulled up along side of him.

One of the occupants of the truck got out, pointed a gun at the resident and demanded he turn over all of his possessions.

After the would be victim heard the man inside the truck tell the other suspect to shoot him, the victim drew his own concealed handgun and opened fire on the suspected robber, who jumped back into the truck.

The victim managed to alert nearby police of the situation who detained the occupants of the truck. One of the occupants was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck and a third passenger where taken into police custody and charges are pending.

The would be victim, who shot and killed the suspected robber, has not been charged with any crime.

It just keeps getting better..

"Defensive Gun Use of the Day: Once Too Many Edition"

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/04/dani...

If you live in southeast Texas, breathe easy. You don’t have to worry about the security of your Cheerios or Lucky Charms any more.“After striking again early Sunday morning, a Beaumont serial robber has finally been caught, but not before he targeted a victim who fought back.” Or so says setxhomepage.com .“Police say (Scott Allen) Willis, along with the help of 22-year-old Malik Washington and 21-year-old Ariel Malveaux, first abducted a woman in the 200 block of Village Creek Parkway. They drove her to an ATM and made her withdraw money before releasing her. Then they attempted to rob two women at their home in the 100 block of Dennis Drive.”...

Seems like the three yoots decided to target women, probably figuring they’d be weaker, more passive and compliant. Seems like Willis is a suspect in several other robberies of women in the areas. Seems like the trio also forgot they were operating in Texas.

(O)ne of the women had the chance to grab a handgun from inside the home and shoot Willis in the abdomen. Willis, Washington, and Malveaux were arrested later at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Police say the woman acted bravely in self-defense, and want to warn criminals that a county or city line won’t stop police from coming after them.

Apparently neither will laws prohibiting kidnapping or robbery. Which is kinda the point of having the gun in the first place, no?

"Burger King diner defeats would-be robber by shooting him"

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/apr/...

A father who was trying to eat with his family at Burger King was able to defeat an armed robber by pulling his own weapon and shooting at him, Miami police said.

It was at the height of lunch time, about 1 p.m., when a would-be robber walked into a Burger King, flashed his gun at one of the family diners, and demanded the diner fork over money and valuables, police said in a CBS report. The robber was exiting when the father, who feared for his and his family’s life, CBS said, took out his own gun and shot the suspect in the leg.

The suspect then fled in his Ford F-150. Police later found him — 36-year-old Travis Harris — and the driver of the truck, 38-year-old Ramon Smalls, at a gas station down the road, CBS said.

The pair was linked to another robbery of a woman that took place earlier that day, CBS said. Mr. Harris was taken to the hospital for treatment and was charged with three counts of armed robbery, police said.

But "Ban" thinks the homeowner shouldn't be armed.

Shooting in Walla Walla leaves 1 dead

http://www.keprtv.com/home/video/Shooting-in-...

WALLA WALLA, Wash.-- A man was killed after being shot in the doorway of a home. Police think the case could actually be the result of self-defense.

Police responded to Belle Street just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Joshua White, 35, was shot in the chest. The incident sent shock-waves through a normally quiet neighborhood.

Toni Hayes lives on Belle Street. She was astounded by the news.

'For this to happen just down the street, kinda just shocked me," Hayes says.

Police tell Action News the shooting happened after a night of heavy drinking between two men. Early Sunday morning, there was a confrontation, and White was asked to leave. Police say the Anacortes man did leave, but eventually returned to the home where he tried breaking down the door.

That's when the other man shot White with a shotgun.

Hayes knows the man who lives in the house. She's sympathetic for anyone who's had to defend their home.

"I don't blame him for what he did. He had the courage to do what most people probably wouldn't have done," she says.

Others who live in the area say the shooting seems justifiable, but are worried about their kids.

"As long as it's not drug or gang related. I just don't want my kids playing and stuff around here. I don't want no problems like that, but if they guy deserved it, he deserved it," says Edward Martinez, who also lives Walla Walla.

Hayes says this situation will change the way she views the neighborhood. "Just gonna be a little more leery. Watch my back, know my surroundings, people. Just take precautions. Be more careful," she says.

Police say the shooter is cooperating. The investigation is on-going and no arrests have been made.
