I do not, and will not ever, support a ban on handguns.

I am in favor of everyone being educated in the proper care and use of any weapon they choose to bring into their home and have in their possession.

You must not have had a 5 foot rattlesnake in your yard this year or a 3 foot cobra snake. How would you handle that and be able to keep your distance.

Thank goodness our forefathers gave every person the right to protection when needed.
You do not know what the future holds. Survey after survey shows that there is less violence in cities and/or countries that allow guns to be carried by their citizens. When every citizen can legally carry a gun, the "bad guys" won't know who is gonna draw a gun on them. There is a proven reduced crime rate in legal gun toting places.
Did you hear about the super liberal journalist living in Washington, D.C. who was knocked down and robbed at gunpoint right in front of his townhouse as he was coming home from work? Well, D.C. did not allow the citizens to have guns, so only the robbers - "bad guys" had them.
The journalist was so shaken by the experience that he quit his job and moved to Texas which has some of the most favorable pro-gun laws in the country. He became a hugh 2nd Amemdment Supporter.

If you could separate the Idiots from the gun itself, I would think otherwise.

Our fore fathers may have given "everyone" the right, but our government has take it away for people, so not everyone has Constitutional rights.

No, the criminal had his constitutional rights taken away. He had them. It is his fault he doesn't have them anymore.
Everyone has the right to choose to do right or wrong. They choose to do wrong so their rights were revoked. Like a repeat offender, like say, a drunk driver. You keep driving drunk there goes your license.
Gun control only protects the criminals. People that follow the law gets their guns taken away, but the criminals will still have thiers. How fair is that.
Just read up on the statics of places that don't allow people to own guns and look at the crime rate.

Tink, why does the criminal have to be a "he"?

Oh, I forgot, this is Florida, a woman's state. A place where a female can commit the same crime as a male, and get a lessor offense and greatly reduced time versus her male counterpart.

Prime example: State of Florida vs. Anthoney

Once an offender has done their time, they should be a full citizen again, with full rights, just as any other citizen. They have done the punishment required by society for.

Continuing to punish someone for something they served their time for is absurd.

Do you continue to punish your child for doing something, after the initial punishment you gave out?

the person who controls your gun controls you when the s hits the fan. Goverment already controls you without taking your abality to defend your family and property

When the idiot your talking about comes to your house and you do not have one, what are you going to do then? Your family depends on you to protect them.
