Banning handguns would only let the criminals keep their guns. The gun owner who has a gun for protecting his home and family would have nothing. The criminals are in favor of a ban as they don't go through legal channels to purchase a weapon.

It is a citizens right to bear arms, and that right should NOT be taken away. We have lost enough rights as it is

What's that old saying: You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands! As usual, the system does not protect who is really & truly should protect. Those of us out there who try to do the right thing (protecting what we worked so hard to get & to keep) get the short end of the deal. Hold on to those family heirloom guns! Outsiders would be on a need to know basis & it isn't no one's business but your own if you have a gun in your home or not. Protect what's yours, no matter what it takes.(Sorry, but you can take this girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl! My Daddy raised me right!) Some criminal comes bustin thru my front door I guarantee there will be 2 shots fired by me: 1st shot just over the criminal's head as a warning. Second one is for the money & won't miss!

Hmmm...this is some response. Of course we have right to bear arms...too bad our Founding Fathers didn't include the word "responsible". Every wild nut hunter in this State just loves having his piece next to him. It is just crazy, these itchy fingered ridge-runners keeping guns in their homes. They breathe shooting a gun...it is the macho thing. But most have nothing between their ears that resembles brains. I am in favor of hunters having guns, but not the nut-ball hunters that I know. They ride about in their cheap pick-ups with NRA printed all over them. If they love guns so much, go to Afghanistan and help out.

Gee whiz, a real live gentle woman, a lady, how happy to have such a serene person living near me. So happy all women do not own guns, but have decency about them. What a nut.

Certainly glad you're not running for public office, or in care of classrooms, or even a crossing guard. Scare the hell out of me if this is the way to run a home, town, city, or country.People like you should have guns taken away. No common sense here at all.

I love what you wrote and and feel the same way however I do disagree on one thing you wrote, In my eyes if someone breaks into my house there will also be two shots,(2) center mass into the chest, no warning shots come from my LEGALKY OWNED firearms! Read the Castle law everyone!

Because the frustrated control freak in you said so?

Oh? So one has to fight in unjust wars to be able to exercise rights? You really are full of shit.

What would you know about common sense? You deride someone for exercising their right to protect what is theirs. Are you a criminal? Is that why you soiled your pink thong knowing she is armed and knows how to shoot?
