A ban would just let criminals have guns

states with strict gun laws have higher crime rates. criminals don't care about laws. give the law abiding citizen a chance to be able to defend themselves. cwp is the way to go

Just a reminder....Criminals don't care about the law. A ban would only restrict those who would use them to lawfully defend themselves from the lawless.

Banning handguns would be a violation of constitutional rights.

No government has the right to ban or even limit rights that are given by God. What part of Congress shall make NO LAW do you not understand?

The second amendment leaves no doubt about this, the language related to individual ownership stands apart from the rights to raise a militia. The founders indiviual writings make it abundantly clear their intent. The US Supreme Court agreed 4-3. Why is this even a question?

Police help is VERY far away when seconds mean the difference between life and death. Fight crime, arm law abiding citizens. That is what the 2nd amendment is all about.

Criminals don't heed laws and the law abiding aren't dangerous. So why outlaw them. If I wanted one I'd like the choice to have one.
