To Im confused" Have you ever shot a gun ? If you bought 70 bullets and still have 70 bullets says a lot you need to pratice target shooting that way if you need to protect you and or your family you know you can. I have a carry permit and have never had to use it for protection (thank god) but if I did I know how to and the rules that apply. A lock on your door keeps honest people out. Please keep your gun for protection better to have one than not but i hope you take a class or pratice. Stay safe

better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I agree simple man. Times are changing everyday just in the last couple months more shootings by bad people. Carry permit holders carry to protect not to kill.

Im Confused, The whole idea is not to have to use your gun. Yo have been lucky however, are you a fortune teller? Are you sure you won't need it in the future? You keep your firearm just in case you ever have too. Woman with a gun 2 is right. Door locks keep honest people out. Remember, you have the privilege of having this weapon for defense not necessarily for offense.

A person holding a firearm bears the responsibility of what they are holding.People kill people. Whether they use a gun puts the burden on gunowners exercising their second amendment rights. It is the right to keep and bear arms and maintain a regulated militia. It doesn't say carry and fire at will. Our constitution ensures precious , God given rights. No other nation on this planet has the power of citizenship we too often take for granted. I fully understand the need and right to defend person and property. My only fear is that if we abuse them,we will lose them.I am all about God,guns, and our great nation.Good luck and God bless.

ALMOST Anyone with criminal intentions can obtain a handgun. Banning handguns WILL NOT stop crime , it will only leave honest people defenseless .

I would be a lot more likletey to be willing to give up my guns if the goverment would be a lot more harsh with crimes like drugs, murder and rape if we had public executions it would make criminals think twice before comitting crimes but since that won't happen i'll just keep my guns

all the bad people already have guns.... you wouldn't be solving any problems by banning them. You would be taking the guns out of the peoples hands who would stand up and defend if they had to.

If you ban hand guns to the law abiding people, tha will leave the criminals to do as they please. (Even more than they do anyway) If a criminal who knows by law that you are not armed he will be more likely to attack you.

DON'T BOTHER WITH THE HANDGUN, WHAT AMERICA NEEDS IS THE ASSAULT RIFLE EQUIPPED WITH THE BAYONET. IT'S THE ONLY WAY, THE ELECTIONS WON'T DO IT, TO GET RID OF THE CORPORATIONS AND THEIR TOADIES THE REPUBLICANS AND THE DEMOCRATS AND GIVE THE PEOPLE BACK THEIR FREEDOMS HIJACKED BY THE CORPORATIONS DECADES AGO.

As I have said before,my AK-47 or AR-15 won't fit in my pocket. The thought of being stuck with my bayonets doesn't appeal to me either. If you are in Shanghai use the trade agreements to send the U.S. a large supply of SKS like you guys used to.The price here is ridiculous now.

One of the main reasons why I am against gun control is... There isn't an army stupid enough to try to walk ok these lands and try to cause problems. WHY.. Because everyone here owns or can get there hands on a gun. If they outlaw guns then we are no different then any other SOCIALIST society out there.

Again i say for all the extreme idiots out there that thinks that a GUN BAN will stop gun violence. THE CRIMINALS ALREADY HAVE GUNS AND DON"T CARE THAT THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. All you will do is take the guns out of peoples hands who can stop the stupid shit from happening.
