Just the general population. Actually I don't feel like they need to be completely disarmed. I enjoy shooting, but at a range. I think gun owners should have to keep their guns locked up at designated ranges/hunting lodges if they do want to keep them. That way they can use them in a secured environment where they have to be checked in and out and not taken off the premises. This will probably solve 99% of the gun issues we have as usually people are stealing guns from friends or neighbors to kill people.<quoted text>
So you're suggesting completely disarming the government/military as well as the general population, or just the latter?

The right to bear arms is in the constitution for a reason. We have the right to protect ourselves, to protect our loved ones and our neighbors, and to maintain the freedoms that we believe in.
#125 Apr 8, 2013
It also gives the right for people to carry a gun to kill your kids as well, good luck defending them while your at work... yeah that's a smart reason to keep it in the constitution... I can't be around my kids 24/7 to defend them, my loved ones and my neighbors, so better just to keep the guns out of everyone's hands!

pat's a Sock Puppet just like you.
#127 Apr 21, 2013
Who made you the arbiter of "need"
Huh? So only locations that YOU and your handlers sanction?
Why? What purpose would that serve?
What does that have to do with your idea above?
Then please explain how there are over 1 million defensive gun uses in this country annually. Why do you espouse a "Sitting Duck" mentality?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! So you believe that if guns are banned, the criminals will simply turn them in? What about all of the OTHER weapons a criminal carries?
Your feelings don't trump the rights of other people.
#128 Apr 21, 2013
Let's see. Appalachian Law School. Church in Colorado....
Should I go on?
Then there's this....
Who ever made that claim? Nice strawman.
Because they were unble to defend themselves against attack. Thanks to your ideas.
#129 Apr 21, 2013
There are laws against crazies with guns. But you want more laws. That's crazy!
#130 Apr 21, 2013
The 2nd Amendment affirms a right. Get over yourself.
#131 Apr 21, 2013
And over half were suicides.
But over 1 million defensive gun uses also took place in 2012.
But I'm sure that doesn't matter to you.
#132 Apr 21, 2013
That's correct. The 18th Amendment was a restriction of rights and liberties and it took 14 years of criminal activity as a result of the amendment to prive what a mistake it was. Why? The Amendment process was designed to expand the rights and liberties of the citizenry, not curtail it. Yet that's what the 18th Amendment did.
That's correct. It EXPANDED the rights and liberties of Blacks, Women, the States, the Citizenry at large (poll taxes) an gave 18 year olds the right to vote.
Now you want to make the same mistake that the 18th did.
How is it outdated? Be specific.
It's not an old law. It's a Constitutionally protected right. Civics and American History are clearly not your strong suits.

So according to you, if a person misues a contrivance, it should be removed. Will you be turning in all o fthe knives you have at home? Your automobile?
Wrong. It was someone with a min to wreak havoc that did it. You can't even see (or refuse to admit) that criminals don't obey laws.
And yet you believe they would comply with a gun ban. Insanity.
How so? Be specific.
Really? That's not what they're saying in Washington, DC.
So you support rapists by disarming their intended victims. Interesting.
How long have you been a fan of criminal enabling/vicitim disarmament policies?
#134 Apr 21, 2013
Right. Because you know the criminals will be the first to hand in their guns.
Which serves no purpose when a criminal breaks into their home or a rapist decides to prey on another woman.
You have NO evidence to back up your theory. Why is that?
#135 Apr 21, 2013
You are a liar!!!! Where does it state ANYWHERE in the Constitution that people have the right to kill kids???
Are you really this stupid????? Why wouldn't someone at the school be able to defend the children? Thanks to you and your ilk, so called "Gun Free Zones" are killing fields because the criminals know there will be no one there to stop them. That is thanks to you!
No, you simply can't refute the facts that guns save more lives than are used to kill. You have more empathy for criminals than law-abiding gun owners.
#136 Apr 22, 2013
Law is crazy. We will see him in the headlines one day when he kills someone with his gun. This is the kind of person that should not have a gun. Take his guns away before he kills.
#137 Apr 22, 2013
Pat was an accomplice to the shooter at Sandy Hook. Pat danced in the blood of the victims slathering the blood all over himself.
Pat is always demanding that people should not have a gun. That's how Pat and his ilk are able then to prey on the unarmed people.
Pat is giddy when people are made victims.
#138 Apr 22, 2013
So true. Pat is a criminal enabler.
He/she/it wants to disarm everyone ramifications be damned.
#139 May 7, 2013
I'm sorry Law, but I only found one link to any factual data in all of your posts, and that was data from 1993, and on top of that the source was a Gun Advocate site. Most of what you said seemed to be just snide comments and laughing. Not any information about how to better reduce the number of deaths by guns. I feel sorry for you in that all you can think of is to flash the 2nd amendment and say that's all that matters, without any in depth research or knowledge into the subject matter. And because of that I feel sorry for anyone who takes you seriously.
#141 May 30, 2013
You're wrong. And lazy too. You simply can't refute the points made. I hav researched the matter for uch longer than you have and judgging by your comments, emotonalism is your stock and trade.
#142 Jun 11, 2013
Ooooooo. It looks like Law is a "researcher!" You done gadiate the sixth grade too?
Um, you're not smart.
#143 Jun 13, 2013
Smarter than you by a long shot. Your GED hasn't gotten you anywhere.
