Guns are an integral part of the American Experience, not just a right, but a privilege we enjoy. You ban Guns you will , empower tyrrany and the criminals

Actually, that is already done in most cities and you see the results (MORE GUN CRIMES). Just like drugs, gun prohibition will not WORK.

No, not for all law-abiding adult U.S. citizens. Children, felons, ciminals and illegal aliens are already banned from having guns.

Of course, Dennis Gannon, the horse('s ass) is not allowed to have a carry/conceal, because of his probation deal

When guns are taken away from lawful citizens the criminals will still have their guns.
Gun control hasn't worked in foreign countries; England and Australia for example

Are we that niave? I hold a CCW through the state of OH. When a store says I can't take my gun in their building, all they are doing is disarming me. The bad guy will still have his gun but I now have to way to protect myself or others. Police are great but mostly are there to clean up the mess afterwards. Look at the countries that have disarmed their citizens. The can still have murders, and with guns, you have just taken the "good" citizens right to protect themselves away.

My Idea of gun control is being steady and able to hit your targets in a timely fashion!

Absolutely no gun laws would be my preference. The 2nd Amendment mentions no limitations. The Right to Keep and Bear Arms shall NOT be infringed!
The thought that you can prevent violent crime by taking law abiding citizens guns away has been proven wrong in so many ways that it is ridiculous. People need to start using their brains and quit acting emotionally over this issue.

The right to bear arms was intended to defended freedom and not to stop crime. Handguns are not needed to defend our country. Rifles and shotguns are more than enough to defend our freedoms! Take the handguns off the streets and crime will drop like a lead balloon.

Every time I shoot, I try to remember my gun control. How does it go? Stance; Sight Picture; Breathing and Trigger Control; and Follow Through? I don't want to look for it, now.

Can we support, maintain and promote the civilian gun/ammunition industry and market, without promoting even more military/Pentagon-PAC-rat pork?

...that is promoting and PAYING FOR even more Pentagon-PAC-rat/patriotic imperialistic pork with never ending foreign military entanglements and spending?

Homeowners and business owners need to protect themselves. Here is a example!

wtnh.com in Bridgeport, Conn reported Investigators are on the case of a deadly shooting in Bridgeport that happened during an attempted robbery at a restaurant. Police say two men tried to rob the Peking Restaurant on Wade Street around 9:00 p.m. But a worker there was armed with a gun shot one of the robbers. The two robbers took off but crashed their getaway car nearby on Wood Street. The driver was found dead inside. We're told the worker was licensed to carry the gun.

Guns obtained LEAGLEY are seldom used in crimes. Those that are obtained ILLEAGLEY will not be effected by laws any more than they are now. Gun Control was only perfect in Nazi Germany.

Despite Harvey Daye Jr. being his everyday JACKAZZ self the issue is a BAN ON HANDGUNS.

Criminals have no trouble obtaining a handgun, so it would not effect their behavior.

Why would anyone want to make it tougher on Law Abiding Adults?

There was PERFECT GUN CONTROL IN NAZI GERMANY. And I can't help but think those in Washington fear the 2ND Amendment, now more than ever.

The Police come in and "mop up" after the fact, having a handgun, and knowing how to use it, will give you a measure of safety you will never get otherwise.

If more folks were trained in the use of handguns, the criminal element would perhaps give some extra thought to muggings, holdups, and robberies of convince stores.

We have given up many of our rights in exchange for "protection", don't give up this one.
It will give you an edge that may make all the difference.

Try saying that in Baltimore or Detroit who HAS gun laws (the two murder capitals of America)........

You are right that the guns are for our GOVERNMENT. But I would believe that some of my family members in Detroit AND Baltimore were ALLOWED to have a weapon to protect themselves from violence that plagues their neighborhoods every single day. Because the police can not and WILL NOT protect you. As said in martial arts and boxing, the best defense is SELF DEFENSE.
