The men who wrote the const. knew we nneded our guns, without them only the goverment and criminals would have them, the only thing that keeps a man from coming in my house uninvited is that he knows i may have a gun.

Totally in favor of a ban on guns...it's worked great in other countries and has reduced the death toll caused by guns.

no....Americans have the right to defend themselves. No country (in the world)that has instituted 'gun clntrol' has reduced their violent crime....NOT ONE COUNTRY.

The government has the right, and it's a small one, to regulate handguns. It has no right to ban them anymore than it has the right to ban blacks at a water fountain. We have more pressing problems in this country than those who widely support abortion (you can steal my rights) being the most vocal supporters of taking away the Constitution rights AFFIRMED by the Constitution, not granted. WAKE UP!

I'm not sure I believe that to be true...but even so, definately accidental deaths by guns are reduced greatly by gun control.
If we can save kid's lives that way, I'm all for it.

Gun control means a steady hand. The right to bear arms is guaranteed by the second amendment of the US Constitution. I have the right to protect my life and property with a firearm. As an example suppose Kozzy was a criminal trying to knock down my door in the middle of the night. His Obamacare insurance had better be paid up because I will put holes in him that Mother Nature didn't give him.

Are you kidding me? Any form of gun control means the criminals (who do not follow the law) would be at an advantage. Think abut the 2 or 3 robbery suspects who were killed this morning trying to rob a food chain restaurant; they would have been willing to take someone else's life! A poor low-wage employee who only wants to support him/herself. With gun controls in place, these idiots would likely have gotten away with their crime.

If you are legally securing your guns...they won't protect you in the case of someone trying to knock down your door, as they would be locked up and the ammunition would be in a separate place....are you storing your weapons illegally?

because i would rather have my weapon than be a victim. the police can't do anything until after something happens.
