Hey if you are ok discriminating... If you are ok treating others as second class citizens... more power to you... As for me ... I believe in equal rights for all.. not just those I like.<quoted text>
It's my opinion. I'm not changing it because you disagree with me.

I never said I didn't like gays. I'm just not for gay marriage. I'm not ranting on you like you are to me because I respect your opinion. It surprises me how a grown person in the twenty first century still can't learn to accept the opinions of others while a 16 year old can.

It is called debate... I am not ranting on you...just pointing out the fallacy of your opinion.. You say You like gays... yet you do not want them to have the same rights as a osc married couple gets. Please explain why two U.S. citizens should be given less rights than another two who have opposite genitalia.
It surprises me how many grown people will have an opinion on this yet when confronted fail to back it up. It is easy to have an opinion... 5 year olds have opinions... Adults should able to back them up and not say... thats just how I feel.

They should have a civil union, not called marriage.

Problem there is c.u. are MUCH different that marriage in legal terms.
A c.u. does not offer many many benifits given to someone married. Now if someone told you you should have a c.u. and not a marriage, and you knew that you would not get the rights of a married person... would you be ok with that?

Awww how cute... Beach bunny can not back up her opinion so she goes for the ad hominim attack.... Oh my she called me illiterate, and questioned my writing skills. All that yet she still can not back up her opinion. Like a five year old she basically just say "oh yea well you are do do head."
Tell you what bunny, when you want to put on your big girl panties, try answering the question I put to you before. Please explain why two U.S. citizens should be given less rights than another two who have opposite genitalia

Unnatural. Everyone is naturally born a certain sex; marriage between one of each sex is required for continuation of the species. If some are confused about their sexual identity there are clinical ways to deal with it or just live and let live but no good reason to change the definition of marriage. Homosexuals can make their own contracts but should not impose upon society to adjust thousands of years of cultural norms to accommodate their underdeveloped sexual identity problem. Career politicians have jumped on the issue for votes.

"Unnatural. Everyone is naturally born a certain sex"
Yes you are born m or f...however hardly unnatural to be homosexual...1500 species of animals have been found to have homosexual members in them... so while not "common" hardly unnatural.
"marriage between one of each sex is required for continuation of the species."
What an absolutly stupid statement
A) marriage is required?... tell that to all the unwed mothers out there.
B)homosexuals make up less than 5 percent of the population.. do you REALLY think that 95 percent cant keep society going?
C) Show me one state that requires you to have children in order to get married.....
D) If going by your statement "marriage between one of each sex is required for continuation of the species."... One would guess you mean that since ssc can not "naturally" have children they should not marry....
f so would you deny marriage to anyone not able to have children?
"dentity there are clinical ways to deal with it "
Realy... show me one medically proven clinical way to "deal" with it. Not some mumbo jumbo "pray thegay away" deal.. but one with medically proven research....
"just live and let live but no good reason to change the definition of marriage. "
Many good reasons
A) They are american citizens. As such they deserve the same rights and privledges afforded to other citizens. One such privledge is the ability to enter into a civil contract which is what marriage is.
B) They are not changing any definition... Marriage is a contract between two individuals... as such it is gender neutral party of the first part party of the second.
" Homosexuals can make their own contracts"
Would those "contracts" give them the same rights as married people?...
"should not impose upon society to adjust thousands of years of cultural norms to accommodate their underdeveloped sexual identity problem"
Actually you got it backwards.. It is society who should not force their antiquated views of marriage on them. Unless you can tell me why a group of american citizens should be denied the rights given to others...
Go ahead try... this will be fun
"accommodate their underdeveloped sexual identity problem."
Got ANYTHING to back that up...besides your bigoted viewpoint. I mean a study by a neutral source that actually shows that being homosexual is a " underdeveloped sexual identity problem." Thought not
