I choose to accept people as they are as long as they abide by the State Laws and are not harming anyone in a unwilling fashion. I live my life. That's all I can do.

Yes.

Why you nutjobs think that homosexuals are out to hurt you is beyond me, but it is not equivalent to murder or robbery.

How? Do you think unmarried homosexuals are having sex with the opposite sex now?

Let homosexuals get married. Love is love. We have no right to judge. And as to the religious side of this debate, in the new testament, Jesus says I am the light. I am the way. Follow me and my words. He commanded us to follow the ten commandments. And the last time I read the bible, the ten commandments spoke nothing if homosexuality.

There are more 'swingers' who are bisexual/homosexual than straight. I view the subject in Medical and Psychological wellness and the irrationality of behavior with depth of friendship and ability to be honest and open-up with truthfulness a tell-tale sign of whether someone is 'in their right mind'!

because our laws are secular not biblical. to make biblical laws as public law would force that don't partake of a particular religion or faith to live by those principles within those religions or faiths - and that goes against our federal constitution.

I'm not Christian, so I personally don't care about that. BUT in the new testimate, Jesus does say, to paraphrase: I am the light, I am the way" he told us to follow him, and lead a christ like life. He told us to follow the ten commandments. And the last time I checked, being gay doesnt break any of those. Christ is ever loving, and doesn't judge.

When Jesus came down to earth, he told us to start a new chapter. The Old Testament is not what we are meant to focus upon any more. If it were, then we should all keep kosher, and if any of you wear clothing made of multiple materials, death to you right now! But Jesus said that what the 2 greatest commandments are to love the Lord with all your heart, and to love your neighbour as yourself. It doesn't say to stop loving your neighbour if he breaks the rules. It doesn't say take matters into your own hands for sexual deviants, but it says to love your neighbours as yourself. And if we could all do this, and concern government with important things, like the unemployment rate, and we include gays into our society as equals, the way Jesus would, we can all become the good loving people Jesus wanted us to be.
