if god created all these gay people shouldnt he be the one on the chopping block? its not my place choose who does or does not deserve equality, but if i was gay i would want the same things everyone else is entitled to... i say lets treat everyone with the same respect and let god sort out the rest, that is his job isnt it? or has man taken that over for him?

I am gay and can't understand how the bible arguements stand up when such judgement and hatred are included. It is for God to judge it Is for humanity to love thy neighbor, practice tolerance, and do unto others...

If someone loves someone, they have every god damn right to marry them. Religious bastards have no right to stop the out come of a relationship. Saying a couple can't marry because someone's deity said it's wrong, is WRONG(Seeing as this is the MAIN reason for this controversy), but yet straight men and women are allowed to get married 2, 3, 4, or even 5 damn times in a life time, as long as the divorce papers go through. Everyone deserves equal rights; even if you're not marrying someone of the same sex, what right have you to deny another the privilege?

Very unlikely you agree with 100% of the bible's teachings. But it's fun to pick and choose, right?

Everybody has a right to love a significant other. There's nothing as wonderful as a loving relationship, and I don't believe a Higher Power would have provided the chemical or genetic possibilites in so many people that they shouldn't be recognized as a serious part of our society. Significant others, whether heterosexual or homosexual should have equal rights regarding legal and medical, and whatever rights are afforded to one group. As for as what the Bible says, I don't believe this nations laws should be based on those sayings. There is supposed to be a separation of church and state. I am a happily married heterosexual women in a very caring relationship with a very caring heterosexual man and we both think all people deserve a chance for happiness and equality.

Oh yes, more bible junkies!!! If gays want to marry let them. Their marriages won't last anyway. All religion really is, is one sleazy corporation. The biggest scam in the world....the bible and all the other not so good books.
